Could do better with the cleaning

Its in a serene location and modern. I have stayed here a few times and always like how modern it is. I usually dont like to live feedback but I have always like this apartment and that's why I always recommend it to anyone friend or family visiting derby but I feel its gradually detoriating

The cleaners need to do better. The apartment had a bad odour when we checked in this wasn't pleasant at all. Also the place is quite dusty i think the cleaner needs to do better with the cleaner especially with the skirting boards and window skirting. The extractor fan looks like it has never been clean and this is the same in the two bathrooms and cobwebs are also in the bathrooms. Also the single beds should have something that could stop then from separating especially when there is no request from guest to have them separated. Its very inconveniencing to be sleeping and having the bed move apart

Modern, clean and quiet apartment

Clean. Modern. Spacious. Well appointed. Light. Very quiet at night

Mattress floppy. Pillows dreadful. Living room lights didn’t dim and blasted us with light. Towels tiny. Hob didn’t work. Unhappy that I was charged a £35 ‘damage waiver’ despite booking on booking.com which should surely be enough of a guarantee? Tried to liaise on this with owner but got short shrift!

A long work weekend

Accessible and spacious but too expensive for its worth.

The location is excellent as it is close to most of the shops and high street. It is also close to the family we were visiting. Parking was not a problem as there was an allocated space in front of the apartments. The flat was very spacious and organized. Self check-in/out instructions were clear.

Having said the above, there are some comments and suggestions we just want to mention as well. Although it was a very spacious and accessible flat, it wasn't the most tidy and neat. There were lots of spider webs in most of the window corners, there was also a distinct smell as soon as you enter the hallway bathroom, which in addition also could have been more useful if there was a separate shower head to be use esp if you are a family. The towels were prepared however did not felt okay for usage as it didn't smell okay. There were also some knobs/screws that were missing in the ensuite shower control which makes it difficult to use. Beds were okay but not the most comfortable. As we came on a summer season and it was extremely humid, a portable fan at least during this visits could have been more useful. Lastly, there was an additional waiver charge that needs to be paid before check-in which we felt was a unneccessary considering the condition of the flat which wasn't really a good value for money.

Great place , communication with management company is limited

Toilet has a stink. Window does not close in one bedroom letting in a lot of noise. We were on the first floor flat of the left block. The messaging service goes unanswered. That said there is a polite call centre, probably based in India.

Worth another visit

Very spacious apartment and all the facilities we needed were there including towels and loo roll. Comfy beds and airy rooms with skylights and big windows. We needed them as it was very warm when we were there. No lift so a bit of a trek upstairs but even with my arthritis it was manageable. Convenient for local bus routes into the town centre and there's parking in front too.

Although the apartment was quite clean, it could have done with another once over behind the furniture. Also the communal areas need cleaning as the dead insects were not the best first impression of the block. There's a busy road not far in front of the block which could be noisy but I slept quite well despite that.

Great place, would definitely stay there again next year!!

The apartment was really nice, spacious, airy and very clean, the beds were really comfy, had a great 2 night's sleep there. Easy to find and had car parking space. There was everything there you needed for cooking too.

The kettle needs changing, we tried 5 times, but the water still tasted awful, ended up boiling it in a pan which then tasted fine. The only thing that was missed from cleaning was the oven grill.

Not as clean as advertised, there was dead insects on windowsill, clumps of dust still on the floor, Greece on the cooker and extractor fan, and a lot of marks on the walls.

Super happy with the stay and would rent again if in the area

The location was great, the area lovely with a nice surrounding. The apartment was spacious and had all the facilities required. It was a good place to live in. (my comments below are only intended to allow the owners to improve some requirements)

There was no lift so taking luggage up 2 floors wasn't a bit hard, but the stairs are wide. There was also no dish cloth to be able to wipe the dishes. Could have done with at least one sharp knife to enable chopping of food. It would also be good if the bath also had a flexible shower head in it (there is a second bathroom with a shower)

The stay was good, accommodation was very nice and location and parking excellent

Everything was good with our stay, the only thing I would say is, we did request first floor and was given top floor, one of the party struggled with all the stairs! We also requested for rooms to be set up as twins however they were both doubles! But we managed

Convenient location and ample parking off-road

2 bedrooms, so for 4 people, but only 3 mugs and 3 wine glasses, one of which is cracked. Would have preferred not to have to secure booking by bank transfer.
