EV charger installation would be a good addition, but there are plenty of charging stations nearby.

Fabulous! A beautifully converted barn in the back garden of the owners' house. Great location 15-20 mins walk to our event at Mt. Ephraim Gardens, & close to bus stops from & to Faversham (& Canterbury, should we have needed) for trains. We could have happily stayed much longer, as it is such an excellent place. The village is quiet with a shop close by & an incredible restaurant opposite - The Dairy - where we spent our first evening indulging in the most delicious food! Very cosy house with nice lighting. Super comfortable lounge/dining room, huge sofa & arm chair, + dining table. Large TV & plenty of games. The garden was really nicely kept - we sat outside for breakfast. Well stocked kitchen with all possible needs covered including even a cocktail mixer & a cheese board set, + a good selection of teas & coffee! Hosts Kerri & Roland, who live in the main house, with 2 adorable dogs, Rex & Charlie, were absolutely brilliant, & an extra surprise was a welcome gift of a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge, & a carrot cake! The 2 bedrooms were spacious with really large comfy beds, quality linen, wardrobe/hanging space, & plenty of drawers. 2 of us shared the top room with the requested extra futon bed - as comfy as the other main beds. The 2 shower rooms were perfect (excellent water pressure) with plenty of loo roll & handy toiletries. Hair dryer & spare towels available too, which proved very useful when we got utterly drenched one night at the music festival at Mt Ephraim. Roland was extremely kind & was on hand when the doors stuck when we returned - maybe they had swelled with the rain after being dry for months - & then he even offered to dry our wet garments in their dryer which was most welcome indeed.

Minor points: Door locks; we don't like to have to use force in other people's property, & certainly didn't want to risk break anything, but the main & patio door handles & keys needed extra force after the 1st night. Maybe the sudden damp atmosphere from the storm on the 2nd night affected the frames. We had to disturb the owners but at least we weren't late back (only because the storm had halted the music festival). Admittedly, the keys had been left in the lock when we arrived & Roland & Kerri did try to reassure us that it was a really safe area & the dogs would alert us all to intruders, but 2 of us are from London & are used to multiple security measures. When we used to stay at the festival campsite there had been instances of tent theft at night & we were all warned not to leave valuables. It was fine in the end but we were nervous leaving someone else's property unlocked when there were locks to be used. A full length mirror, perhaps inside the wardrobe in the downstairs bedroom (where there was a small portable mirror that I propped up against the window), would have been a nice addition but it's not hugely important - the bathrooms had mirrors over the basins.

The Hayloft is beautifully presented, and for us, a bonus is that there is a bathroom and bedroom on the ground floor. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, finished and furnished fabulously. Not that we needed to make use of them, but very thoughtful with tea, coffee, soap, etc. The Dairy restaurant located across the road is an absolute gem, the food and staff are fabulous.

A little more privacy in the garden from the driveway would be a nice addition.

The location was good as we needed to get to Canterbury. The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Lots of room, hot water etc. Good eating places in the village including restaurant opposite. Hosts very helpful.

It would have been good to have had blinds in the lounge, as accommodation very visible in the evening from outside. There were few instructions particularly for heating which took a long time to heat lounge on arrival, and then was on at odd times. and TV which didn’t seem to have terrestrial channels except through separate apps. Ok but complicated.
