The Yellow Door Whitstable - Peaceful retreat close to beach

Very clean and tidy house. Excellent location for Whitstable town centre and beaches. Some great local hints and tips in the handbook provided in the property. Sofa bed worked well for our family of 3. Delicious breakfast provided. Loved the 'crispy' towels!!!

Great location for walking to the beach or into town. Courtyard is lovely to relax in.

A lovely little place to stay.

The outside area is peaceful. The accommodation was clean comfy for a short stay. The host was lovely.

The property was quirky and clean. The main room was spacious and the bed was comfy. They had kindly provided, bread, butter, jam, marmalade and a bottle of red wine. The price was very reasonable and the location was fine.

The property is an annex to a home which is acceptable. However, the explanation could be more comprehensive. The second bed is a small pull-out chair that is difficult to fit in the space and once extended it makes it challenging to access the bathroom, fridge and outdoor seating area, basically everywhere but the bedroom. We were very lucky with the weather but on the night it did rain we realised the roof was corrugated plastic or something of that nature which made it very noisy. The breakfast area was outside in a lovely area full of plants which meant flies! There was no where to sit and eat inside except for on the bed.
