Lovely property that’s perfect for the Pekoe trail just at the foot of the Pedro plantation. Very comfortable with large beds and en-suite in a traditional setting

Bit far from City centre but it’s manageable with taxi.

Very cheap for 1 night, breakfast was small and a bit bland but still nice to have it included.

Room felt dirty, lots of mould all over the walls in our room. Room was also full of flies when we arrived, as was the communal area (literally loads as seen in picture) and was quite tricky to get rid of them in our room. Bathroom felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages, felt grubby and also mouldy. You can’t expect luxury for the price it was, but compared to everywhere else in Sri Lanka we have stayed it felt the most unclean. Also is quite far away from main town and hardly any restaurant choices nearby, though this is not to the fault of the Homestay.
