Great location and the size of the property really makes it good value for money.
If you are a light sleeper, you may need ear-plugs (main bedroom) due to intermittent noise from the boiler.

The property was easy to find by car and public transport and simple and quick to get in and out of Oxford centre - there was a bus route just a couple minutes walk from the house. Plus a pub just down the road, easy walking distance. Quiet location. The house was extremely spacious, more so than we thought! Very comfortable and warm. We stayed whilst on a conference in Oxford so spent the evenings at the house very comfortably.
Unfortunately in the master bedroom, the boiler was very loud when we had the heating on one night as it was pretty cold. We boosted the heating ourselves but it was hard to sleep and stay toasty during the night in the middle of winter. The heating was on a set timer for morning and evening from the owners so would advise leaving it as is for less noise during the night! Otherwise, a very quiet location :)

Lovely and quiet. Great to be able to boost the central heating quickly and effectively. Loved the decor and the cleanliness of the cottage. The Harry Potter cupboard was a quirky surprise.
The local pub with nice food was very convenient, as was the great bus service into Oxford.
We found it very tricky to find. Had a problem with Oxford Road and hadn’t realised there were 2 parts to it. Once we came across the ’other’ (correct) part of Oxford Road we were able to follow the directions given.
We were concerned when we first saw the exterior of the cottage as it appears rather dark and a little neglected from the track. Parking area a bit of a hazard - potential for twisted ankles! However we were delighted that it was so nice inside.
