The coastal hamlet Amroth is close by, here you can discover the array of cafés, a stunning sandy beach, ideal for children to play and build sand castles, and watersports with kayaking, sailing and surfing all within a 10-minute drive. Locally there are a host of walks to discover including the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park footpath, which covers 186 miles of iconic Welsh coastline. Locally, the National Trust managed Colby Woodland Gardens really is worth a visit, wander through the vast gardens within the hidden valley, take in the flora and fauna and uncover the secret garden, but be sure to keep an eye out for the array of wildlife. A little further along is the coastal resort of Saundersfoot and then the famous walled town of Tenby which really are worth a visit. Beach 4½ miles. Pub and restaurant 100 yards.
