Good breakfast and dinner at their restaurant, room was spacious. Able to get laundry done. Free parking and located close to castle and nice walking trails.
Not realising the steep outdoor stairs to get to the room.

Sally, the receptionist! All the staff friendly and helpful.
We were on the ground floor with some foot traffic outside, so didn’t feel comfortable leaving the window open at night. Consequently, it got a little stuffy.

Handy for local attractions and amenities! Nicely decorated and great parking. Nice breakfasts and evening meals good so long as you avoid the steaks! Lovely walks to the rear of the hotel along the lake/river
The staff were surly, and the proprietor bordered on the offensive on occasions! Poor sound insulation meant you could hear everything going on in the hotel! Not very welcoming at all! Those staff preparing breakfast were friendlier, but on the whole glad to leave
