Where Comfort Meets Heartfelt Hospitality

Delphine and her family were incredibly warm and welcoming — they truly made us feel genuinely at home and attentively cared for throughout our stay. The house is absolutely beautiful and perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need. Every detail, from the thoughtful amenities to the lovely interior design, reflects the love and care that fills the space. You can genuinely feel the beautiful energy throughout the home. Without a doubt, we will be back. Highly recommended!

An epic stay :)

Amazing! Loved it all. Delphine was super welcoming and friendly and we really enjoyed talking with her. We stayed in the main house and it was so nice to have a mix of communal space but also your own room and bathroom. There’s a tennis court which we used and was great fun and also a spa (we didn’t get round to using this but all included!). The grounds are beautiful and we loved our two nights here. Breakfast was included in our stay and the selection of food to help yourself too was delicious.

Perfect stay to relax and rewind

What an amazing place! The hosts are very warm and welcoming, everything is exceptional and very clean. Hot tub and walks around the property are offered, breakfast was fabulous. Lots of areas to relax, both inside and outside, also lots of games, books and stunning views. You will not be bored there!! We had the master bedroom with a lovely view on the garden and the entire floor to ourselves. Can absolutely recommend this stunning place.

Gorgeous, friendly B&B - absolute 10/10!

Fantastic place to stay, lovely room in beautiful surroundings and the owners are brilliant and so helpful. Delphine gave so many recommendations and even lent me a board to go down the sand dunes! Daily breakfast provisions and a hot tub in the garden all lovely touches - it feels like a home away from home.

We were staying on the top level of the main house. It was well laid out and we felt like in a very private space. It was great to be able to use the kitchen and make use of the other facilities like the spa pool. The breakfast was simply superb with yummy bread, fresh orange juice, eggs, and so much more. When we arrived, it was a very rainy period for the Bay of Islands and we were forced to remain indoors however this was not a bad thing because our hosts invited us not only for crêpes but also a very fun night of playing games with their other guests. We had a very memorable and enjoyable evening and it felt like we were spending our time with whānau.

It may have been useful to have a couple more mosquito nets on the windows

Very Poor Breakfast

Breakfast was not something to look forward to. Very disappointing after the previous B&Bs. Buffet breakfast means DIY. Basics like fruit juice were not available.

Forest Waters is one of the best choices we have ever made for a B&B.

The warm welcome and solicitude of Delphine is second to none. We felt at home and well cared for from the moment we arrived. The location is beautiful, the accommodation generous and comfortable.

Highly recommend everyone to stay!!!

Delphine and Guillaume are such a lovely couple whom were so welcoming warm and very inviting. The home and the grounds are so well set out with lots of facilities. We all had such a wonderful time, my kids especially loved the tennis court, spa and the regular firepit with marshmallows. We were all sad to leave. We would definitely stay again!!

Wonderful stay, will come back

Delphine is an excellent host, the property is very tidy, the place is complete beyond my expectation, we have itinerary within the vicinity but we like to stay in the place rather than going out, the place is relaxing, love the garden, the ambiance, everything. Delphine is awesome.

Amazingly beautiful and cozy place with lovely hosts

This stay was such as unbelievably amazing experience. We booked it the last minute and arrived after dark, but were heartily welcomed by our hosts Delphine and Guillaume. The property was very clean, spacious and cosy, instantly feeling like being at home - even better 🙂 Breakfast was just another lovely experience, with amazing view to the garden. And the garden... no words can describe it - it was such a joy to walk in it while drinking our morning coffee. After just one night here, we were sadly leaving this beautiful place with a feeling of visiting good old friends after a long time.

We definitely should stay here longer, that's the only regret we had.

Tranquil and exceptionally lovely stay

This is an exceptional B&B. The room is clean and comfortable and the shared living area is wonderful. There is even a tennis court to play a little and a whirlpool that you can use by night and watch the stars on a clear day. Delphine and Guillaume were super friendly and welcoming without being the slightest bit obtrusive. Just wonderful! And the bread we got for breakfast was delicious, same as the lemon tarte Delphine shared with us. Highly recommend!

The only thing that wasn’t PERFECT was the water pressure in the shower, everything else was completely perfect!

Fabulous, relaxing space away from the hustle with everything you need — including generous hosts!

Overall, the accomodation was fabulous! The grounds were really peaceful and it was only a 10 minute drive to town. So much nicer than staying in town with a lot of noise and people around. The hosts were kind, warm and generous but also gave us our own space and privacy. I'd never stayed in a B&B style accomodation before so this was a new experience and I'd do it again. If I have the opportunity to come back to the Northlands of NZ I'd definitely stay again.

I'm struggling to think of anything. A little more fridge space would have been good, but we managed ok.

Amazing, blissful paradise in Haruru!

There is so much to say about this beautiful property. Firstly, the hosts, Delphine and Guillaume welcomed us with open arms and warm hearts. Our room was unbelievably beautiful, the decor stunning. The bed was super comfortable and the view was to die for. We were allowed to use the kitchen as and when we needed, equipped with our own shelf in the fridge and drawer to put our dry food in. It didn't feel like we were in a B&B but felt more like we were part of the family, making friends with other guests who, I'm sure, felt the same. Close to Kerikeri and other places, it was really easy to get around by car. We sat outside with a beautiful log fire and just the sounds of nature on a couple of nights, and were even invited to eat home made crepes with the hosts and other guests on another night. It really was a home away from home. We would come back to this gorgeous place in a heartbeat and can't thank Delphine and Guillaume enough for their hospitality and kindness.

There really is nothing to dislike about Forest Waters. We loved absolutely everything about this place and would come back here in a heartbeat.

We would recommend the place to anyone seeking friendly atmosphere and the local counsel.

The surroundings are well kept and the rooms are very clean and cozy. We travelled as a couple with one adult child and the accommodation upstairs suited us perfectly. The hosts were very welcoming and caring. We got all the recommendations for the day in the area. Forest Waters are convenient for everything you want to do in the Bay of Islands. Also the food served at breakfast was excellent, everything home made, from the garden/farm or from the farmer’s market. Delphine and Guillaume went far and beyond. Merci, Delphine and the family!

Great place to base yourself for exploring Northland

Such a beautiful setting. Great views from the rooms. Loved having the top floor to ourselves. It was equipped with all the creature comforts, and even fresh flowers, and water. Spoilt with such a beautiful place to stay, and the spa was a treat. The kids loved trying to play tennis. Breakfast was plentiful, and yum especially the bread. Hospitality was amazing and such a generous family, sending us home with fruits from their trees. Also very knowledgeable about the area and got great suggestions and tips on what to explore and see and do. Definitely enjoyed going back to Auckland on the West Coast route and stopping over in Rawene and meeting the Simply Fun owner. The perfect spot to stay at nestled between Paihia and Kerikeri. Definitely recommend and look forward to returning there for more Northland adventures.

We were out so much during the day that we didn't get to enjoy the fireplace so much - will have to plan less outings to enjoy more of what their home has to offer. There wasn't anything not to like.

An amazing experience, the hosts are exceptional and the place beautiful. 100% recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights and wished we could stay longer. Delphine & Guillaume are exceptionnal guests, passionate about what they do and they make you feel very comfortable. Our rooms were very cosy, comfy and clean. The house is very spatious and well decorated. There is even a little play room for the children. The breakfast was very good too. We would definitely come back and cannot recommend them enough.

A wonderful place to stay at for exploring (the north) or just to relax.

I think we had the best stay here in the whole of New Zealand. We were blown away by the hospitality, courtesy and helpfulness of our hosts. The whole area is really beautiful and well-kept - you don't want to leave. There is a lot to discover, even about yourself - let yourself be surprised! Highly recommended!
