Beautiful property in stunning grounds. The room was excellent, with beautiful linen and all ensuite requirements. Breakfast was lovely and hosts Shirley and Jim were a delight, making us feel most welcome.

It would be helpful to have had black out curtains, and the fan was a little noisy.

If going to Bay of Islands, stay here!!

Amazing location very close to Paihia, Rainbow Falls and many other locations. The hosts were amazing welcoming us in and showing us about, talking to us about what's in the local area and what to do. Breakfast was amazing also and bedrooms were great size and very comfy. We also loved the views from the location and seeing their Steers in the field next to the garden and being able to get close to them. In all a great place and would definitely go back here if visiting Bay of Islands again.

Beautiful property with delicious breakfast

The property was beautiful and the hosts were so welcoming. The toasted croissant and yoghurt for breakfast was delicious. We also loved seeing the cows grazing.

Fantastic place, beautiful setting, handy location, brilliant hosts

Great breakfast was prepared every morning before setting off for the day, with continental breakfast plus hot croissants. All bases were covered, couldn't have asked for more. The pool and snooker games were a definite added bonus which we all enjoyed thanks so much :)

This relaxing and beautiful place is highly recommended.

Love the continental breakfast especially the hot croissant paired with warm coffee prepared by Shirley. The place is so relaxing, easy to locate, with free private parking space, close to many attractions. Our room and ensuite bathroom are exceptionally clean, love the garden view too. Shirley and Jim are very friendly and welcoming that you will feel you're a part of their family. We will definitely book this place again. Thank you. Just a note - The booking.com ad maybe needs to be updated - it says that this double room has a microwave, toaster and electric kettle but we didn't notice it in there. Though we know these are available in the kitchen area - no probs at all on our end.

Absolutely delightful stay

Shirley and Jim were so very welcoming, accommodating and charming. The vast front yard was something my kids looked forward to playing in every day (and magazine-worthy!), the beds were very comfortable, the cleanliness was exceptional and the breakfast, nutritious and absolutely delicious! We particularly recommend Shirley’s toasted croissants!

Peaceful location, very private. Friendly hosts, would readily stay again if in Paihia area.

Hosts are super-friendly, relaxed, and very willing to share their time to advance the experience of visiting them and the district. The breakfast was stunning, better hot croissants than you'll find on the Champs Elysees, classy presentations, and they even happily shared their own lounge TV so we could watch a rugby game with them. The grounds are amazing, quiet location set well back from the country road. We recommend getting the double room with a private en suite - well worth it. Six minutes easy drive into Paihia.

We can't think of anything that could be better. Terrific stay, wonderful hosts.
