You get your moneys worth

The room looked out to the woodlands and was nice and quiet off the main road. Tv had access to Netflix which we enjoyed and the beds were super comfortable to sleep on.

Pressure in the shower was next to non existent. Had to remove shower head to actually have water on my body. Linen was not changed daily we had a blood stained sheet - not sure if it was from me or not that wasn’t changed on our bed. No sink in room other than the basin in the bathroom which felt a bit weird using it for both toilet use and for cleaning of dishes. Some mould in bathroom and the pillows were super thin which made getting to sleep quite hard.

Quiet and secluded. Excellent proximity to shops and restaurants. Extra blankets provided were appreciated.

Flooring in bathroom was uneven and a trip hazard for elderly parent. Heated towel rail didn’t turn on. Heater in guest bedroom wasn’t working.

I arrived to find that my room was located right in the middle of a block being used for emergency accommodation for Social Services. Entire families appear to be living in all the units on one side of the block. I had to organise an upgrade immediately due to the noise. There appears to be personal home furniture in these units so they are there long term. I would never have considered this Motel had I known. The upgrade was done immediately though and I paid the difference. It was not the best thing to arrive to after an extremely long trip with a tired small child. Wifi did not work for tablet only phone.

The property is so peaceful, tucked into the quiet Woods of a rainforest with bird sounds and so much beauty. I love that there was a hot tub to dip into at the end of a long day. The staff were absolutely wonderful and are the reason that I keep going back. Everything is very clean and tidy. I love having fresh milk delivered and everything that I need right in my room. The private deck is so peaceful for morning and evening reflection.

Loved the room, with the view into the trees. Felt very peaceful. Staff were lovely and kind. A nice spacious room. They had turned the heaters on in anticipation of my arrival. Very easy to get to and from the venue, close to the town centre but far enough out.

A slight smell of cigarette smoke from an earlier visitor - went away once the room was aired out. Wasn't an issue, and I would definitely stay again.
