Die Lage in einem Naturreservat mit einem unglaublichen Blick über die Bucht von Rio ist einmalig. Die Anlage wurde bereits zweimal als Ausstellungsfläche für die Architekturausstellung Casa Design genutzt und dies erklärt warum alle neun Zimmer so unterschiedlich und stilvoll, mit soviel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet sind. Das alles wird noch vom Charme der Betreiberfamilie: Eleani und Carlos mit ihre Kindern übertroffen. Die perfekten Gastgeber, kulturell gebildet, in der Designscene zuhause, die sich ausgezeichnet auskennen, immer erreichbar sind(WhatsApp) und auf Wunsch alles organisieren. Man kommt als Gast und geht als Freund. Ich bin dort Silvester eingetroffen und war dank der Familie noch vor Mitternacht ein Teil einer internationalen ‚Familie‘ und durfte einen wunderschönen Jahreswechsel erleben. Ausgezeichnet für Alleinreisende, aber auch für Freunde die sich mit Freunden treffen wollen und ein Muss für Architektur/Innenarchitektur-Interessierte.

The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful, and solution-oriented. When we had an internet problem, they even installed an additional modem and cable to help us. The breakfast is good, the beds are comfortable, and the overall hotel concept is very nice. The decoration and atmosphere are also pleasant. The team is definitely one of the strongest points of the hotel.

The hotel is located a bit uphill, so you need to climb a steep road to reach it. Since it is surrounded by forest, there are mosquitoes, which makes it difficult to keep the windows open. There is also a ventilation problem in the rooms and bathrooms. We had a drain smell in the bathroom, but thankfully the staff changed our room. In general, the rooms look clean, but detailed cleaning needs improvement. There were spider webs in some areas, and sometimes spiders could be seen in the bathroom. The shelves, decorative items, and corners of the room were quite dusty, so deep cleaning should definitely be improved. The room was tidied up every day, but the bed sheets did not seem to be changed. Also, the wooden parts in the bathroom do not look very hygienic. Overall, we were happy with the staff and the hotel concept, but the cleaning, ventilation, and maintenance should be improved to provide a much better guest experience.
