Spacious & Stylish 5 Bed with Free Street Parking

The house was very clean, it was comfortable and had plenty of space for our group. Location wise it was a short 5 minute walk to the prom and had a co op and Tesco express a few minutes walk away perfect for picking up a few bits. I fully appreciated the ingenious use of a dishwasher tablet to hold up the blind in the front bedroom.

While our stay was mostly positive there are a few things that could improve the overall standard of the house. Description of the property stated there was driveway parking, there is no driveway so we had to park on the road. Not a problem but not what had been advertised. The location of the house is good for a short walk to the prom however it is located in the more run down part of Morecambe and while fine once the door was closed not the most pleasant to walk around. The house was clean and had some little decorative touches but it’s a shame more attention to detail had not been taken with the overall decor (wallpaper coming off walls, no care taken with painting and cutting in, flooring not fitted properly in the bathrooms, some blinds broken or held up by a dishwasher tablet). The CO2 alarm beeped constantly until battery was changed and the microwave made a very strange noise so we didn’t feel safe using it. The best thing was the back yard which is highly misrepresented in the photos as it is full of weeds, cat poo and cigarette butts. We did have a message saying not to use the yard as it’s a working progress which is no problem but the photos on the site should state this is the plan not how it currently looks.
