Nestled a bit further away from the town, faced with all the valleys and nature. Hotel food was very good as well. Highly recommended!!

The pictures showed the new rooms; we were assigned an older room. The tap at the sink was loose. The bed was extremely hard. We were offered to change to the newer room for a night, which had significantly better beds and was in much better condition since it was newly built, but we didn't take it due to the hassle.

102 stone steps to our room. Add another 24 to get to breakfast. Where there was no toaster but a dread dehydrator. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Especially those that have arthritis or knee problems. Parts of the (resort) is under renovation. No pool towels in pool area. The view is spectacular, though every hotel is designed to take the view in. So the Mong is not unique in this aspect. After climbing the stairs every morning. A taxi or grab transport has to be taken to get anywhere.
