About this cottage rental
The Up North Tree house is located in the charming village of Suttons Bay and although this house may not technically be a treehouse, you will enjoy 360 views of trees nestled just outside of the center of town. This Glenn Arai designed home offers a modernist style with thoughtful consideration for its building site. Situated on a forested hill, it offers a tranquil setting under the shade of towering trees, surrounded by perennial gardens, and actually feels like you are in a treehouse.
This is a 2 bedroom/ 1 bathroom with shower/soaking tub and will sleep up to 4 with 1 Queen and 1 Full Bed.
The Huge windows in the living room offer great forest views and the kitchen is fully stocked and has a small fridge, separate freezer, toaster oven and stove-top. There is NO regular oven. The house has Cable TV, WIFI, and a washer/dryer.
When you step outside from the living room door, the outside deck area will soon become your favorite place to hang out. There is a gas grill!
Linens are provided. No smoking. No air conditioning, but fans are provided.
This house is located only three blocks from the beach, marina and shopping in Suttons Bay. You can play at the beach all day but have the chance to escape from the busy summer crowds when you arrive back at the house.

It’s a bit of an exaggeration to say that this property has bedrooms. A more accurate description would be: On the second floor there is one full bathroom and two alcoves with one mattress on the floor of each. The alcoves have no doors for privacy and standing headroom is only available in the center of each, due to the slope of the roof. Both alcoves are open to the first floor kitchen and living room, meaning all sounds, even at whisper volume, carry between floors. Otherwise, the house and location are nice.
