Parenthèse Cathédrale Hypercentre de Rouen

This was our primary issue, communication with the host, multiple emails and phone messages not answered. It was by our luck we met a person, didn’t identify as host who opened the lock box to enter to ready the unit thus we were able to get those keys. The lock box didn’t work with the code given on the booking confirmation. The host did reply to an urgent message after but it left us feeling a bit stressed. Upon leaving we couldn’t open the lock box to return the keys so messaged the host to inform and left the keys inside with the door unlocked. The location and price were excellent and it would take very little effort to make this unit more inviting, new bedding, shower holder higher up, it’s attached at tub level, hand held. Just a few improvements, nothing too costly.

The bedding consisted of a sheet and blanket with pillows that didn’t seem to have covers on them. I truly think the bedding hadn’t been laundered. You could see there was minimal effort toward this.

L’emplacement

Check in was super easy, location was great - really central, easy to reach by foot from the train station, also right in the center of old town, great value for money.
