Yudi met us at the property, gave us a thorough tour, and explained how everything worked. Communication was excellent, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free.

The Villa is absolutely breathtaking. Modern, fully equipped and has everything you may need for a comfortable stay. When we arrived, we were surprised to learn that the villa was equipped with a washing machine, drying rack and iron/ironing board. The kitchen was equipped with a water cooler which was completely safe to drink. This was very valuable and useful at the stage of trip. The host was friendly and communicated clearly. I appreciated that the host was very accommodating when it came to housekeeping and the times the staff could come for daily cleaning. The bed was comfortable, equipped with block-out light curtains and the shower and amenities in the bathroom were lovely too. The pool is the star feature of the property. The water was warm enough to enjoy a night-time swim. The pictures reflected on Booking.com are not misleading - the property is that beautiful. Organising/requesting transport was easy. Overall, I would highly recommend the property to guests who are considering staying at Melrose Villas.
The fact that there was only one key provided is an issue if there are 4 guests staying in one villa. I would atleast consider a second set of keys for the Villa. The property is walking distance to the nearby lively streets, restaurants/bars & cafe's, however, the roads were narrow, and in turn makes it "dangerous" to walk with all the traffic. During the evening, the property surrounds are quite dark. Getting to the villa from Canggu was quite a journey. Very "safari-like" journey through rural neighbourhoods with all the hills and narrow roads. More towels could have been provided.

Very clean and lovely villa
No microwave, the hairdryer is the worst thing I’ve ever used- useless, the TV was so slow and no TV only streaming, only villas meaning there’s nowhere to wait or go once checked out. No kitchen basics like foil salt pepper milk etc
