Very nice accommodation

It’s a lovely little house with a ground floor and an upper floor. The rooms upstairs are connected to each other. Downstairs, there’s a kitchen and a living room – everything is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need for cooking: utensils, dishes, pots – absolutely everything. You also have towels, bed linen, soap, detergent – all the essentials are provided. The hosts are extremely kind and helpful. There’s private parking in the yard, and a small outdoor table with chairs where you can enjoy your coffee. Another nice thing is that the hosts live nearby – if you need anything, you can easily contact them and arrange a time to meet. Everything is very well organized and pleasant.

Ideal stopping off point on a road trip

The property was clean and the facilities were very good. The location is convenient for the old town and off street parking was available. The host were very welcoming.

The stairs were steep and bedrooms conjoined, fine for a younger family group, but can be negotiated with care and managed by older travellers.

Brilliant...just mind the stairs.

Brilliant location, just 10 minutes walk from Blois old town and main sites. Good private parking, just mind the door step. House fully equipped. All modern and clean. Nice size rooms.

BUT Stairs a death trap. Narrow, slippery and uneven at the top, and no banister. And no toilet upstairs, so if you have to use the loo in the night, you have to go downstairs. My wife did not like the idea using the stairs when very tired, so slept downstairs on the couch. Also hated the flanette sheets on the bed. But everything else perfect.

Excellent accommodation to visit a very interesting town.

The location was absolutely excellent for walking over the bridge and visiting everything we wanted to in Blois. Everyone from the Tourist Office staff to the staff in bars etc were absolutely lovely. The town had a really lovely vibe and ambiance. The accommodation with the very secure parking of the car in the courtyard was equally excellent. The sitting out area, private and in the evening sunshine was a real added bonus. Internally the house was spacious for the two of us and the bathroom was equally spacious! The house from top to bottom was exceptionally clean, and the cooking, kitchen, and washing facilities cannot be faulted. It was a really lovely house to spend the four nights in, to explore Blois.

The stairs are exceptionally steep. Everyone old or young, will need to be very careful and take extra care. There are some narrow treads and no formal handrail. Care is required as others have commented.

Very comfortable cute cottage very well fitted out.

The house was great, it had everything we needed. Good hot water, nice bathroom, good kitchen setup. The beds were comfortable, possibly the pillows could have been a bit better. Off street parking was a bonus but there was plenty of street parking. Quiet location, could easily have stayed longer. Very nice host.

Stairs were a bit steep, I would not recommend for elderly or infirm persons. Glad we had a car as it was too far to walk to the chateau (which we knew when we booked) but we easily could walk to the river and small supermarkets.

A bright, cozy, clean space in a quiet part of town.

The house was cozy, bright, compact and well-appointed. We were grateful to settle in here after a long voyage from Canada. We appreciated the free parking.

The pillows on the beds were a drawback to beds that were otherwise very good. The old town centre of Blois is not walkable from the property. One has to drive.

Perfect stay and unforgettable!

The property is located at lakeside, you can see the snow mountain and beautiful Thun late by just laying on the bed! All the facilities in the room is clean and modern, kitchen tools are fully prepared, which is very convenient for family to live. I love this place!

Très bonne Situation, proche du centre ville, rue calme et petit extérieur. Logement propre, belle pièce de vie et agréable SDB

Chauffage principal (clim réversible) hors d' usage d' où une température très basse à notre arrivée (fin décembre, zéro en extérieur). Il a fallu attendre la femme de ménage pour allumer 2 petits radiateurs électriques, (télécommande des chauffages sous clé). Les chauffages ont permis de maintenir une température correcte en bas dans la salle principale. Par contre à l' étage, le seul radiateur n'a permis de chauffer qu'une chambre sur 2. La literie serait à revoir.

Spaziosa e ben posizionata, quartiere ben servito con supermercati, bar e negozi raggiungibili in 2 minuti a piedi. Scala ripida ma non così critica come descritto da alcune recensioni. Tutto bene… consigliatissima anche per il parcheggio privato.

Super Ferienhaus um die Schlösser der Loire und die Stadt Blois zu erkunden.

Gut eingerichtetes, sauberes Ferienhaus. Alles da, was man braucht. Parkplatz vor der Tür. Bequeme Betten. Ein wenig steil die Treppen in die obere Etage. Sehr freundliche Vermieter, welche im Haus nebenan wohnen. Gute Lage, das Zentrum von Blois lässt sich in wenigen Minuten erlaufen.

Duas noites em Blois.

Casa renovada e muito limpa, num bairro tranquilo, a uma caminhada aproximada de 10 minutos do centro de Blois. A casa tem dois pisos e estacionamento privativo no pátio. Os dois quartos são em cima e, em baixo, a sala, cozinha e casa-de-banho.

A escada tem degraus em madeira, estreitos e irregulares, o que torna subidas e descidas bastante cautelosas. Os dois quartos em cima são contíguos, sendo que, quem está no primeiro quarto, não tem privacidade, é de passagem. O ar condicionado não funcionou. A porta de acesso à habitação tem uma forma incomum de ser fechada à chave, os proprietários poderiam ter avisado. Achámos estranho pedirem aos clientes para despejar o lixo e tirar os lençóis da cama antes do check-out. Nunca nos aconteceu. E não gostámos que disessem para sairmos às 10h, quando no Booking está a informação de check-out até às 11h. Enviaram uma mensagem e tivemos de sair à pressa.

Très bien placée

Une maison parfaite' placée du côté tranquille de la ville. Propriétaires disponibles et très discrets. De bonnes ondes dans cette maison très bien placée. A 2 pas du grand pont Jacques Gabriel qui mène au coeur du centre ville. Nous avons fait la ville plusieurs fois à pied. Joli petit extérieur avec petite table et chaises pour les beaux jours. Nous cherchions un endroit à 30mn des différents châteaux de la Loire nous avons été exaucés. Maison très propre très pratique et literie parfaite. Charmés !

Vriendelijke ontvangst en in het huis was het lekker warm. Het is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij hebben heerlijk geslapen. De auto naast het huis achter een schuifpoort. Ideale overnachtingsplek en is zeker ook voor meerdere nachten aan te bevelen.

Nos sentimos como en casa. Zona muy tranquila y confortable, a diez minutos del pueblo de Blois cruzando el rio Loira. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia de varios días, incluido parking cerrado. Todo muy nuevo y decorado con mucho gusto, además de estar todo limpísimo.

Réactivité des hôtes, très bonne communication. Personnes arrangeantes, soucieuses du bien être de leur locataire. Logement idéalement placé à 10min à pieds du coeur historique. Séparé par la Loire, du côté plus récent de la ville ce qui permet un accès tout commerce à pieds (supermarché, pharmacie, boulangerie...). Stationnement facile et gratuit. Logement refait à neuf. Le parquet dans les chambres ne craquent pas (un détail important avec des enfants en bas âges). La rue est très calme. Pas un bruit la nuit. Rien à redire sur la propreté. Absolument parfait. Une adresse à conserver et partager sans réserve.
