Excellent position close to all facilities and ideal for a short stay

Wrong time of year for us to use all the facilities .. had a lovely courtyard but was raining most of the time … the property was well equiped and the facilities were good … if your taller or bigger in size the bed is small

We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment. Very comfortable, with heaps of room and a comprehensive inventory of all the appliances that you’ll ever need. Plenty of parking just a couple of minutes away. David was extremely helpful and welcoming. A very relaxing place to stay, would definitely stay again when in Blois.

Good location In the heart of Blois. Very clean, comfortable. Easy to communicate with host. Bikes available to use.

Parking is not easy . The car park at the end of the street is convenient but gets very full. We arrived at 7 pm on a Sunday and managed to find one space. We didn’t move the car then until we left.

Charming little apartment

Charming little apartment within a couple of minutes walk to the old centre where there are lots of restaurants for all budgets. Parking is close by (free overnight) The bed is super comfy, and the shower is excellent. small outside courtyard nice in warmer weather. Use of bicycles is a great extra. Great place to stay.

The heating is controlled remotely by the owner. Traveling in October, it felt a little chilly. You can contact the owners and ask for it to be adjusted, but it's all a bit of a faff.

Would definitely stay here again

We really enjoyed our short stay here. There are two separate bedrooms, really large living room with a good dining table and a big kitchen. We like that all the appliances (fridge, dishwasher, washing machine) are full size. The free parking is a few steps away.

Luck of air conditioning. But they provided us with two big fans which was very convenient on hot June nights.

Great location ! The owner gave us many suggestions for the restaurants and where to visit. We also can borrow the bikes from the owner to explore the city and the surrounding area which is absolutely amazing !

The unit was well equipped with the exception of the bed which slumped to the middle . The location was excellent and parking was easier than expected .

The bed was a let down but can be easily rectified by replacing the mattress . Otherwise all good .

Good value for its location and facilities.

Easy location to walk into Blois. Everything that you needed for a stay was in the apartment: kettle, coffee machine, microwave, fridge with little freezer box at the top, washing machine, iron, ironing board. Nicely decorated. The private courtyard from the bedroom is quaint.

FYI: parking isn’t easy. The pull in parking bay (not really - it is just an area that doesn’t have bollards) is just beyond the apartment not outside. There is a free car park about 5 mins walk up the road but this gets VERY full. Better to try to park there after 6.30pm. The parking de Mail on the banks of the Loire has more spaces but you need to get there by 9am to start to pay.

I had second floor unit. Great location - 100 meters ftom center town. Spacy two bedroomv appartment. Full kitchen with everything needed. Very responsive owner. Pair of bykes making all the difference - very usefull. Running in rhe morning between the Loir bridges was deligtful. Definately will come again.

Good stay in Blois, advertised patio not existing

Located at walking distance of city of Blois.

The advertised patio is NOT existing anymore. The images on Booking are of a patio of the neighbours (!). When asked, the host wrote (quote) ‘We have to redo photos of the terrace with the bike room to put on the site very quickly (unquote)’, but the advertisement on Booking is after a month still not changed (and therefore misleading). In addition, the patio-door has no lock so apartment cannot be closed off if you leave.

It was very easy to collect the keys, instructions were very clear! The hosts were super helpful and responsive during my stay. The appartement is beautiful, very well appointed plus quiet and cool for sleeping. When I was in Blois there was a music festival and it was very hot: I didn't notice either staying in the appartement! Bed is comfy, everything is spotlessly clean. Patio garden area is lovely for sitting with a coffee in the morning. The kitchen is good for preparing breakfast. The bathroom is great, good shower and decent size as I was getting ready to attend a wedding.

The apartment was beautiful and in an incredible location. I wish we could have stayed longer. The laundry was really handy and we loved having coffee available.

The shampoo was missing, but otherwise there wasn't anything I didn't like!

Superb

Great small apartment which was on the ground floor in an excellent location walking distance to everything in the old town. Good free parking nearby and room to stop temporarily to unload luggage outside the apartment. Kitchen well fitted out with cooking utensils etc and cooktop and microwave. Good fridge.. Owner has supplied good range of basic condiments. Coffee maker as well. Great little private courtyard to sit out in. Very secure and safe place. Great washing machine and drying rack. Thoughtful touches.

We did run out of hot water one morning as we had washed clothes and I washed my hair. Didn't realise it was a tank rather than continuous. And I think on a night rate to reheat. However no problems once we realised. Plenty for 2 normal showers. Just to be aware. Although it was hot the place stayed relatively cool because of being on the ground floor of an old building which was good but I would have liked a sheet as well as the Donna cover but that might be an Australian thing as most of Europe only has the cover and no sheet.

Great location, comfortable place.

This was a poperty, managed at arms length by a family, but not difficult to locate or enter. The unit was quite self-continaed and pleasant with a little courtyard right out the back door of the bedroom that was a pleasant reading area early in the morning or end of the day. Sights were very accesible with restuarants and enjoyable pedestrian-friendly walking areas in the cetnre of Blois. Would recommend this unit to anyone. Was happy to see that landlords were receptive for suggestions for improvement as well.

A few minor things that needed a bit of explanation, a process that could have been included in the notes left at the location for us.

Very convenient, close to the city center/castle/restaurants. Quick access to the riverside. Parking facilities nearby. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was not offered, however we could have a coffee and some chocolates/madeleines were available in the kitchen🙂 The owner was reachable on the phone and provided clear instructions on how to pick up the keys and where to park our car. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you.
