This comfortable house has all the necessities for a great visit to the region. It’s located on a quiet street across from a beautiful open green space. Our host, Laurence, was very helpful and always available to answer our questions. We were very glad we chose this property.

Property had everything we needed. It was a short, 15min walk, across the Loire to the centre of Blois. Would be useful to have an english style can opener in the kitchen as I couldn't use the European one, luckily my husband had used one before so we didn't starve :o) Note: All information in the property is in French - this wasn’t a problem for us as we were wanting to improve our language skills

The two-bedroom cottage is in a great location— green view out the front, a quick walk to shops and Blois, and easy to use as a base to explore the Loire valley. Living area was comfortable, as were the beds. Would come again.

Très bon emplacement : accès rapide au centre ville à pied ou en vélo. Près des châteaux de Chambord, de Cheverny et de Chaumont sur Loire . Près d'une baignade naturelle : idéal quand il fait très chaud. Propriétaires à l'écoute de nos besoins et réactifs. Petit marché artisanal le jeudi en période estivale. Nous avons eu la chance de voir le feu d'artifice du 14 juillet sur la Loire. Un endroit idéal pour passer de bonnes vacances .

Schönes Häuschen, ruhige und vergleichsweise zentrale Lage

Schönes Häuschen mit großer Terrasse in einer ruhigen Straße mit Blick auf die angrenzenden Felder. Trotzdem vergleichsweise zentral gelegen (mit Fahrrad in 5 min, zu Fuß in einer Viertelstunde zur Loire und zur Altstadt von Blois). Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für die Besichtigungen einiger bekannter Schlösser, die auch gut auf kurzen bzw. etwas längeren Fahrradtouren besucht werden können (Chambord, Chaumont, Chenenceau). Auch Blois mit seinem Schloss und der Altstadt ist sehr schön. Abend kann man schön oberhalb des Rosengartens am Hótel de Ville sitzen, wenn die untergehende Sonne die Häuser am gegenüberliegenden Loireufer beleuchtet. Sehr gute und angenehme Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin (wir mussten zweimal umbuchen, weil in 2020 und 2021 wegen der COVID 19-Pandemie keine Einreise nach Frankreich möglich war).

Das Haus hat eine gute Lage, ist innen sehr gut renoviert. Der Außenbereich könnte schöner sein und die Außenbeleuchtung fehlt. Leider wurde uns nicht mitgeteilt, dass die Straße komplett gesperrt war und wir mußten bei Regen für 14 Tage alles zu Fuß ins Haus schleppen. Der angebotene Parkplatz war natürlich auch nicht vorhanden! Der sogenannte Fahrradschuppen war voller Gerümpel und konnte nicht genutzt werden.

Laurence è stata super gentile. Ci ha spiegato tutto, ma soprattutto ha dotato la casa di tutto ciò che potrebbe servire. Recensione breve: la casa è nella periferia di Blois e il centro è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. La casa è davvero curata e c'è tutto ciò che può servire per viverci. Il bagno al piano superiore è "strano", ma la sua funzione la svolge, dunque niente sorprese. Attenzione alle scale ripide, che sono dotate di cancelletto per bambini, quindi a prova di bambini piccoli. Recensione lunga: Laurence è stata gentilissima. Avevamo delle esigenze tempistiche con il check in e ci è venuta incontro senza problemi. La casa è davvero carina e funzionale. La cucina dispone di tutto ciò che serve per vivere, ma alcuni strumenti non sono forniti (pastiglie per lavatrice per esempio). I letti sono piccoli (alla francese), ma il materasso è ottimo. Notevole la presenza di ventilatori, davvero un'ottima idea. Una cosa che abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato è stato il tavolo con l'ombrellone fuori, dove abbiamo potuto cenare, oltre al posto auto nel cortiletto d'ingresso. Tutte le informazioni sul vicinato sono fornite da Laurence: ristoranti, supermercati, boulangeries, ecc. Si trova comunque tutto a un passo da casa, sulla via principale che collega il quartiere alla città. Che dire, spero di poter tornare a Blois ed essere nuovamente ospite di Laurence.

Modern eingerichtete, offenbar vor nicht langer Zeit renovierte Wohnung. Alle Angaben im Inserat sind zutreffend. Hinzuzufügen ist, dass die Wendeltreppe in den 1. Stock ziemlich eng und steil ist - das ist vielleicht nicht jedermanns Sache. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung aber sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Straße am Ortsrand von Blois mit Blick ins Grüne. Der Ort Blois lässt sich aber dennoch gut zu Fuß erkunden. Für uns war die Wohnung idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge im Loiretal zwischen Orleans und Tours. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
