An exceptional stay that allowed us to explore the charming town of Barfleur, on foot, car and bike.

Our stay at the Domaine de L'O was superb. We loved every moment. The setting, the fabulous food--and exceptional breakfast--all were wonderful. Also wonderful were the hosts and staff--cordial, very welcoming, helpful and professional. The hotel really is a labor of love and a very special place. We certainly hope to return.

Een mooie plek als uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van de noordelijke Cotentin.

We verbleven in een van de 'tiny houses' die op het mooie park zijn opgesteld. De inrichting is vrij compleet en netjes. De locatie is goed op zo'n 20 minuten lopen naar de haven van Barfleur. Met de auto is dat natuurlijk sneller, vooral als je in het centrum kunt parkeren. Cherbourg en Cap la Hague zijn binnen een uur te bereiken. Het ontbijt hebben we maar een keer gebruikt. Het was goed maar niet erg uitgebreid. Al met al hebben we het erg naar onze zin gehad.

De 'tiny houses' zijn knus maar erg klein en zijn voor een lang persoon niet comfortabel; douches en slaapruimtes bieden weinig bewegingsruimte.

Cooles TinyHouse, kompakt, aber alles da was man braucht. Viel Charme, perfekt für Familien. Sehr viel Platz draussen in schöner, parkähnlicher Umgebung. Sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Besitzer. In Gehdistanz zu Barfleur, ein charmantes Fischerdörfchen mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Hafen.

Beliggenheten var fantastisk - en liten oase. Veldig fredelig og stille. Vi hadde bestilt to tom, men fikk en av vognene i hagen. Litt irriterende at vi ikke ble informert om dette. Ellers var alt veldig bra. Rent og komfortabelt. Godt med sengeplasser til familie på 4, og godt utstyrt kjøkkenkrok. God parkering. Restauranten var dessverre stengt de dagene vi var det, men den så veldig innbydende ut.

Welch schöner und gepflegter Park

ein wunderbarer Ort! Super toller grosser Garten zum Flanieren und Verweilen. Sehr nette Gastgeber und freundliches Personal. Schönes Zimmer, ruhig. Es gibt im Garten auch zwei witzige Tiny-Häuschen zum Mieten. Originell. Speisesaal wunderschön!

Das Nachtessen war gut, doch leider von der Menge her sehr dürftig. Ich habe als Entree Spargeln bestellt und erhielt genau eine einzige grüne Spargel, zwar hübsch angerichtet, doch sehr extrem...!!! Frühstücksauswahl war auch relativ bescheiden. Schade!

Havre de paix au calme, un peu à l'écart du centre de Barfleur.

Accueil et relationnel très chaleureux. Petit déjeuner et repas au restaurant très bons. Chambres très bien équipées et confortables, décoration originale et soignée.
