Floor heating broken, they have an oil heater instead, wasn't told about the deposit until I booked? Parking on booking.com was wrong, it is park on the street, not even outside the accommodation either. Wi-fi Signal (but NO internet on router) TV not working (no internet) sky remote but sky box unplugged? NO milk sachets (2 in room for 2 days stay so only enough for one drink, none in shared kitchen. Thermostat for underfloor heating broken and making a noise all night. I had room E which is ground floor, this house has been a home so stairs are noise and made out of creaking wood with no stair banister (health and safety issue). CID turned up on second night as a criminal couple were staying at house!, it appeared the management wasn't being cooperative, wouldn't even give details if they are coming back or the deposit. Ended up grabbing the crooks which lasted from 1am to 4 am and I had to be at work for 7:30 am.. would have been easier if management cooperated and gave them information on the booking ... I have never stayed in something that has had so many defects with mis information and yet I received many (scripted) text messages to encourage me to give a high positive feedback (about my stay in London?) and how the ratings work in booking.com... Never again for me

Disappointed stay.

The location was excellent. Everything was clean apart from the severely stained carpet.

No staff on hand. The bed was too small, considering the size of the large room. We had to go to the bathroom outside of the room which had to be locked at all times. The carpet was severely stained. The door handle to our room was damaged. The manager knocked on our door and presented me with hair straighteners and i pointed out the door handle. She said a maintenance man would look at it the day after at lunch time. He came to fix it at 8.45pm which was unconvenient. Constantly sending messages re keep everything as we found it and make sure we made no noise from 10pm -8am.

Great space but APPALLING communication.

Kitchen was clean and room was spacious, comfortable and had the normal necessities. Space and location is good for the price.

Communication was VERY unpleasant. From the moment I made the booking, I was bombarded with unnecessary text messages. All the information was excessive, repetitive and not proper. Check-in information is extremely confusing. I was then sent a message after check-out with check-out information and threatening cleaning fees for leaving a rubbish bag in the room when there is no bin can provided in the room. There was also no information that the private bathroom to the room requires going through common spaces. Text messages have continued and was needed to block the number. Kettle in the room was nasty as well.

Overall a great stay and I’d stay again if I was ever in the area.

Overall a great room for the price. Warm on arrival and the heated floors were perfect especially first thing in a morning. Felt cosy. Comfy bed although I feel there would be room to put a bigger bed in for extra space and comfort.

Although the surfaces, bathroom and fridge were spotless, the whole carpet was really badly stained and did let the room down. It’s very obvious. The duvet and pillow protectors are stained and a thicker duvet would have been better rather than the very thin summer duvet. Very few channels work but luckily being a smart tv, I could sign in to Amazon Prime. As the room was on the ground floor we did have next doors kids playing just outside the windows and kicking a ball into the patio door a couple of times. One little boy was trying to peek through the window at us and although we weren’t particularly bothered by this and did find it quite funny, others staying in the room might think otherwise.
