The Beige House

Didn’t get to go as it was booked n paid but it wasn’t even available for the dates I booked it for so it shouldn’t have even been up for people to be able to book it even the host said they didn’t know why it was still available for booking but they were just as put out as I was when I spoke to them they had to refund me themselves because it had been charged to my card also so it took the money out of my bank for it n it then said it could take up to 10days to get a refund but that left me in a real mess as I needed to book somewhere for that evening and I needed that money to do so… the money that had been taken even though the booking wasn’t even available to stay in….i didn’t have another £60 to pay for another place to stay that night so they said they would refund it and claim it back then themselves which I really really appreciated that they did that for me otherwise I would have been really really stuck in a situation where I was thinking I might end up on the street tonight here….. but it shouldn’t have been down to them to refund me for it as it was not even them that had received that payment either so they were having to put themselves out of pocket£60 then but they saved the day for me thankfully….best thing as well is I really really wanted to stay here it looked perfect for me n my partner was a beautiful property from the pictures of it I was so disappointed that I couldn’t stay there as well which is even worse too…. The place I had to get in end wasn’t a patch on this place but I needed something then by that time it was getting on and I was running out of options tbh so all in all my complaint isn’t with the hosts or the property or anything there it’s to do with this site so it’s not a review of the property here but the absolute rubbish way this is having to be charged then told it’s not available u have paid for it so then need a refund but u can wait 10days for it??!!!
