Leaving it.

Please see attached photos. We arrived and the hot tub was empty and dirty. We struggled to enter the property as the owners had failed to answer my repeated requests for assistance over the week prior to check in via their 3rd party website which required passport identification. Therefore no information was given to access the property and we were waiting with 2 tired children in the icy rain, crying and miserable. On finally entering the property, it was clearly unsuitable for our needs as it was filthy. There was a mouldy flipflop and rubbish, dirt, crumbs and other items under the sofa bed which we tried to set up but found no bedding for it either. The mirror in the bedroom had been ripped from the wall and propped against it which was unsafe for our children. There was a layer of dust on all skirting proving that this property has not been adequately cleaned for a number of weeks. Booking.com were unhelpful to say the least when we requested a refund. The property owners have ignored our complaints and detailed photographs in evidence. They supplied booking.com with time stamped photos to prove that cleaners had been sent after we vacated. However booking.com confirmed time stamped on these photos as being taken earlier in the day prior to our arrival and also not being the specific areas that we highlighted. On checking the reviews it seems clear that multiple identical 10/10 ratings with identical descriptions were added in a short period of time from November 2025. This raises alarm bells as to the validity of these reviews.. Neither booking.com nor the property owners have provided me with any resolution which considers that we had two neurodiverse children out in the cold, and with no access to our funds to provide the family with alternate accommodation. We will never use either this property or booking.com again. Book at your own risk. We were in the property for 20 minutes, and vacated immediately.

Very clean. Easy check in process. Hosts were amazing. Just perfect.

Hot tub hadn’t been cleaned, was slimy on the bottom and on the sides with leaves and flies inside Broken glasses in the cupboard Cling film on the smoke detector Strange smell throughout apartment Wobbly floorboard by door Oven was dirty and so were kitchen cupboards People were shouting behind the fence Not private at all.

Shower was really powerful

Sadly, really dirty, crumbs all over the floor, sofa bed, and table. The cooker was really dirty, sink in bathroom blocked.

Excellent location nearby to where I was going. Has a playgym little rascals literally a stone throw away with me having small children this was fabulous and they serve delicious full English / cakes/ coffees and tasty proper chicken breast nuggets for the kids. Highly recommend! The property itself was overall clean, cosy and excellent value for money . I struggled getting in with the key fob but the owner was polite and very helpful talking me through it. Sadly hot tub was empty so little girl was bit disappointed but that may be due to time of year or hosepipe ban which we understand. Beds were firm but very comfortable. It came well equipped with all we needed. The hot shower was fantastic as the weather was torrential rain that weekend. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this property and would happily return . It looked pretty on a night all lit up in the garden, Thank you for a fab stay !

The only reason I knocked it down one for cleanliness is there was a large coffee stain on the corner of one bedding upon arrival . This is due to the cleaners fault not the owners fault

Everything was good

The hot tub could have had more privacy as their was nothing covering the hot tub so we didnt have much privacy
