Lovely spacious house. Unusable hot tub.
The house itself is great. Very spacious and a lovely garden. Beds were comfy. Plenty of off road parking. The massage chairs are great.
The fact that the hot tub is a "do it yourself" situation. I have never been anywhere where the hot tub wasn't ready to use on arrival. In fact this hot tub was only just about hot enough to use on the morning of departure (we were there 2 nights Fri-Sun). We followed the instructions to fill and heat the tub when we arrived friday 4pm. This obviously took a long time. The next morning it was still too cold so I contacted the host for help who between that point and leaving on the Sunday were of no help whatsoever. In fact they came across rude. The main reason we booked this house was for the fact it had a hot tub so it was very disappointing that we were not able to use it. We came to celebrate a special occasion and this was going to be a large part of the experience. The host has never apologised or tried to compensate in any way. It's clearly hosted by a management company who couldn't give two hoots.

Beautiful house repairs need doing
Its a beautiful spacious house! With added extras such as games and the massage chairs were brill! however, we were unable to use the bath throughout our stay as running the water we realised there was a major leak into the kitchen below, the door handle to the double bedroom had no screws in it resulting in my son getting locked in on the 2nd night which put a dampner on things! Would of felt more secure with a front gate also. we would love to stay again as the house itself was lovely but a few issues need addressing.
