25 Bronze Bay Umhlanga Rocks

The beach view, apartment is clean n specious

The lift, struggled to use it, had to use stairs with and infant

I absolutely loved the view it’s breathtaking. Waking up to a 180-degree ocean panorama is just fantastic, and you never feel the need to rush to the beach because it’s right there in front of you. That alone is a huge plus. The bed, pillows, and overall comfort of the space were also excellent, making the whole stay feel extra relaxing.

Unfortunately, there are quite a few maintenance issues. Regular upkeep doesn’t seem to be done while taking a bath the water slowly drains out, so you can’t enjoy a long soak or bathe young children properly. The oven isn’t working, and when you open some of the windows, especially the main bedroom window, chunks of concrete fall out, railings is loose which is very unpleasant. The bed skirtings are also loose, and I tripped over them several times. We’ve visited a few times before, but now that we have kids we’ve realized it’s definitely not suitable for children under four. For couples or families with older kids, it can still be a lovely, relaxing getaway, but it really needs much better maintenance and deep cleaning.

That we were asked to pay R2000 deposit after making a booking or we would not be told where to get the keys. None of this is mentioned on booking. Finally we make the deposit and are told we will get our money in 5 days. When two weeks later money is not reimbursed and we were told we would receive the money on Friday and still nothing. Leave a bitter taste in the mouth

The property was closer to the beach and the beach was easily accessible making it very easy.

At some point the plugs in the apartment were not working.
