A slice of paradise

This place transcends the traditional descriptors like *hotel* or *holiday resort*. It is something entirely different. We stayed in one of the sophisticated private cottages, where every detail struck the perfect balance between design and comfort. Some, like ours, even feature a small private swimming pool. The glass panels slide completely open so that the lush gardens feel like an extension of your living space — nature itself becomes part of the décor. Every bungalow is tucked into its own secluded pocket of gorgeously landscaped gardens, with complete privacy and no sense of being overlooked. The resort’s infinity pool peers across the most perfect, jaw-droppingly beautiful stretch of beach. Perched on a peninsula, the property offers the rare gift of both sunrise and sunset, calm waters on one side, and vibrant surfing opportunities on the other. And the food — it’s simply unforgettable. Breakfast is inventive, artfully presented, and absolutely delicious. Lunch and dinner unfold as an inspired “Thaipas” menu, a creation of the Spanish co-owners. Words cannot do it justice — it is a culinary experience that must be savored firsthand. At the heart of it all is the Belgian owner, Zofie, whose vision and passion are evident in every corner of this space. Her dream was to create not just a destination, but a refuge where guests can reconnect with nature, recharge, and carry home lasting memories. Working alongside the locals to restore the land after the tsunami, she has built something intimate and extraordinary. If you are seeking incomparable beauty far from the bustle of tourist crowds, yet still close enough to enjoy surfing, cycling, or even a traditional beachside massage at Nok’s place, this is the place. The hardest part of our stay was saying goodbye to zofie and this little piece of paradise.

A place you don’t want to leave

We had such a wonderful stay at Cape Pakarang, thanks to also the outstanding hospitality of the owner Zofie! The place is really a small paradise in the middle of nature. Not to mention the rooms/villas - it was really the most amazing and well-designed place we have ever stayed at. The ocean & nature views from the rooms are just stunning. Breakfast was also really tasty with a mix of home-made vegetarian & vegan options. And we can highly-recommend having dinner in the spanish restaurant Malamar if you are tired of thai-food one evening. Zofie also helped us to rent some motorcycles and we also joined a Yoga class that was offered for free - which was also fantastic. We are glad we stayed for a few nights and can highly recommend to stop by for your next stay in Khao Lak too. Thanks for everything!

Paradise!

This is a beautiful place to stay - private, quiet and has everything you need. The room was spacious and airy, the shower was a particular highlight! The breakfast was delicious, as was the food at Malamar too. We enjoyed a few days here, relaxing and wandering to the local beaches. We hired a scooter and that made it easy to get around the local area. The staff were incredibly helpful, and even set up a perfect sunset dinner for us on the beach. Thank you so much, we will be recommending you!

You might simply revel in the timeless architectural design, the immaculately tended gardens around the clock, the always warm and attentive service culture, the freshly prepared dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, the pool that glows like a fairy‑tale by night, and the gorgeous beaches. Or you can dive into a holistic experience that is sustainable in every respect. If you open yourself to it, you’ll be swept into a flow that harmonizes all your senses with nature on the same frequency. It doesn’t just feel incredibly good; it also sharpens your awareness of nature’s value and its need for protection. Here you are surrounded by the sea, subtropical landscapes filled with paradisiacal scents and sounds, and air that begs to be breathed in deeply. Run with passion by Zofie and her team, Cape Pakarang is so perfectly woven into this environment that it feels like a natural part of it — and, in a way, it truly is. The entire concept is designed for sustainability: abundant rainwater is harnessed, regional and whenever possible recycled products are used, and efforts extend to preserving nature even beyond the resort’s borders. My recommendation: treat yourself to this experience and stay for at least seven days. You need a little time to tune in to the right frequency. Once you do, it becomes truly unique — and you won’t want to leave.

Die Gastfreundlichkeit ist hervorragend, Zofie ist die perfekte Gastgeberin. Das Konzept überzeugt: ein ökologisch geführtes Hotel, das den vollen Komfort bietet. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete und grosse Zimmer, blitzsauber auch ohne giftige Reinigungsmittel. Die Gartenanlage ist gepflegt und man kann Vögel, Eichhörnchen und Schmetterlinge vom Balkon aus sehen. Der Koch im angegliederten Restaurant ist ein Könner seines Fachs, vegane und traditionelle Speisen sind erhältlich. Ein schöner, flach abfallender Sandstrand ist in 10 Gehminuten erreichbar. Bitte helft mit, die Idee eines ressourcenschonenden Aufenthalts zu realisieren.

Absolut fantastisch – Einer der schönsten Orte, die wir je besucht haben!

Unser Gesamteindruck vom Cape Pakarang Wow Wild Wellness Escapes war einfach fantastisch. Wir wurden von Visa und Zofie sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Das Studio mit eigenem Pool war ein Wahnsinn: super geräumig, sehr gut durchdacht und immer makellos sauber. Die Lage ist ebenfalls ein Traum. Obwohl der Strand und das Meer direkt vor dem Hotel nicht zum Baden geeignet sind (was bei der Ankunft transparent erklärt wird), erreicht man in wenigen Gehminuten sehr schöne Badestrände. Zofie hat sich zudem sehr viel Mühe gegeben und alle allgemeinen Informationen zum Hotel sowie Empfehlungen für umliegende Restaurants, Strände, Bars und Ausflüge in einer Mappe zusammengestellt – danke nochmals dafür, auch wenn ich es nicht geschafft habe alles zu lesen. Durch die herzlichen und aufmerksamen Mitarbeiter sowie die passende Anzahl an Unterkünften hat man das Gefühl, bei Freunden zu Besuch zu sein und nicht nur ein anonymer Gast in einem großen Hotel. Das hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen und wir haben die netten Gespräche mit Zofie und ihrem Team sehr genossen. Das kleine Paradies, so wie es jetzt ist, macht einen Aufenthalt wirklich zu etwas Besonderem. Wir sind schon ein wenig in der Welt herumgekommen und haben viele schöne Plätze besucht. Cape Pakarang Wow Wild Wellness Escapes gehört für uns definitiv zu den schönsten Orten, an denen wir Urlaub machen durften. Vielen Dank nochmals, dass ihr unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem gemacht habt, und vielleicht sehen wir uns ja bald wieder!

Luxus Abseits vom Massentourismus

Sehr luxuriöses Resort mit nur 8 Chalets und großer Privatsphäre. Sehr schöne gepflegte Anlage. Beim Chalet konnte man 3 Fensterfronten öffnen und man hatte ein tolles Freifuftfeeling. Es war sehr schön eingerichtet mit einem tollen und sehr bequemen Bett. Eine doppelte Regendusche kannte ich bisher noch nicht. Der Pool war stylisch mit Blick aufs Meer. Aufgrund der geringen Anzahl der Gäste waren wir meistens nur zu zweit oder zu viert am Pool. Im dazugehörigen Restaurant konnte man sehr gut essen. Weitere Restaurants erreicht man 15 Minuten Fußweg. Die Hoteleigentümerin kümmert sich hervorragend um ihre Gäste.

Absolument tout. Très paisible, l architecture des chambres et le jardin sont sublimes, se fondant parfaitement dans la nature, mêlant luxe et simplicité. Situé sur une péninsule à quelques minutes à pied de 2 plages avec plein de petits restaurants. L accueil est chaleureux, personnalisé. Le restaurant est excellent.

La meilleure adresse de Khao Lak

C'est mon sixième voyage en Thaïlande et j'ai pour habitude de prendre des hôtels assez haut de gamme, 5 étoiles quand cela est possible, plus d'une cinquantaine en 6 années. C'est la première fois que je ressens vraiment l'exclusivité avec autant de détails comme on peu l'attendre dans se genre d'établissement. Point important, il n'y a que 8 habitations et c'est cela qui différencie cet hôtel des autres. Concernant la chambre (maison individuelle) - Vous aurez le droit à un service qui approche la perfection: le design de la chambre, la qualité des matériaux, les ouvertures et baies vitrés partout, le confort du lit et des oreillers, la douche ouverte sur le jardin avec double jet pluie, même les serviettes et draps sont de grande qualité. Concernant les services - C'est tout simplement la meilleure offre de petit déjeuner qui m'a été proposé jusqu'à maintenant. Oubliez les gros buffets avec une offre à foison sans réelle préparation, là c'est un chef qui préparera votre repas avec une offre à la carte d'une qualité digne d'une bonne petite adresse sur Paris. Pour le reste - L'emplacement est parfait, au milieu de la nature entre 2 plages, sunset d'un côté et sunrise de l'autre à l'écart du bruit de la ville. - Le jardin est sublime - La qualité des bâtiments et des espaces communs sont à l'image de la chambre, moderne et design tout en respectant le cadre naturel avec un niveau de détails dans les décors assez rare. Enfin, Zofie et son équipe sont tout simplement adorable et s'assureront que vous ne manquiez de rien. Je ne commente jamais mes séjours mais celui-là méritait clairement un 10/10, et pour ce niveau de service et cette qualité, à ce prix là c'est imbattable. Merci pour ce séjour, c'est un sans faute !

Es un lugar maravilloso y el alojamiento es perfecto: arquitectónicamente una joya, integrado en la naturaleza y en el que no falta ningún detalle para tener una experiencia impresionante y excelente. Además, Zofie y todo su equipo se esmeran para asegurar que estemos mejor que en casa. Adicionalmente, la comida en el restaurante MalaMar está buenísima (especialidades españolas en las que no falta el toque thai). La ubicación es inmejorable si quieres descantar y disfrutar de la naturaleza salvaje con las mejores comodidades

Die Unterkunft besteht aus acht einzelnen Villen, welche mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und gestaltet sind. Der private Pool, die Doppelregendusche und das bequeme Bett lassen keine Wünsche offen. Die Gastgeberin ist jederzeit und für jegliche Anliegen (von Ausflugsberatung, über Tuktukbuchungen oder Apothekenempfehlungen) erreichbar. Sie interessiert sich sehr für ihre Gäste und fragt stets, wie der Tag war. Das Resort ist mit einem wunderschönen Garten und einem 24h-Pool (nachts mit Sternen) gestaltet. Der nahe Bezug zur Umwelt ist der Gastgeberin wichtig. Dadurch finden sich viele Schmetterlinge im Garten und man fühlt sich wie im Paradies. Das Personal ist stets fleissig und freundlich. Sie versuchen diskret und aufmerksam ihren Job zu machen. Im Zimmer sind immer wieder frische Blumen. Das Frühstücksbuffet besteht aus einem kleinen fixen Buffet mit viel selbstgemachten, gesunden Kleinigkeiten wie eigenen Getränken oder 'energy balls' und einer grossen Karte zum Bestellen wie z. B. Eierspeisen. Das Restaurant Mala Mar beim Hotel kocht ausgezeichnet und die hauseigenen Cocktails bringen einem ins Schwärmen. Das Resort wurde zu unserem kleinen Zuhause und die Menschen schon fast wie eine kleine Familie. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank für alles!

einfach der Wahnsinn.... Erholung und Genuss pur....

Die Zimmer und die Anlage war mit so viel liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Einfach der Wahnsinn. Das Frühstück und die angebotenen, selbstgemachten, Veganen und Fermentierten Produkte, waren ebenfalls super lecker, dass man sich schon auf den nächsten Morgen freute. Zofie, die Besitzerin zelebriert alles mit so viel Liebe. Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich ein Geheimtip.

The most magical, natural and love-ly place in Thailand

Wenn es möglich wäre 100/10 Sternen zu vergeben, wäre das die angemessenere Bewertung. Denn diese Unterkunft hat ALLE unserer Erwartungen übertroffen. Das gesamte Konzept was so liebe-voll bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht ist, bis hin zu der Ästhetik der Zimmer, die Materialien und der ganzen Anlage selber. Die Pool Villa war der größte Traum und wir konnten jeden Morgen unseren Augen nicht glauben. Direkt mit Dschungel feeling und mit dem vogelgesanh morgens aufzuwachen war wirklich ein so großer Luxus den wir noch nirgendwo so erlebt haben. Es wurde jedes kleinste Detail so herzlich hergerichtet. Das Frühstück war lecker, das Restaurant in dem man abends essen kann und Drinks nehmen kann hat uns in jeglicher Hinsicht abgeholt. Wir möchten unbedingt zurück kommen und diesen magischen Ort noch viele weitere Male erleben. Zofie hat unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderen gemacht mit ihrer gastfreundlichen Art, ihrer stetigen Erreichbarkeit und den herzlichen Gesprächen zwischendurch. Vielen Dank für alles. Die Anlage hat unsere Erwartungen absolut übertroffen. Die Architektur, die Gartenanlage wurde mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Man spürt das Herzblut welches in dieses wunderschöne Fleckchen Erde gesteckt wurde. Jedes kleine Details ist wohl überlegt und mit Hingabe gestaltet. Un dépaysement total, dans une bulle hors du temps Le lieu est juste fabuleux, une décoration ultra soignée, chaque détail est pensé pour que rien ne manque Nous avons beaucoup profité de notre petite piscine privée avec vue sur la grande piscine et sur la mer Ah oui la literie est top avec des draps d’une douceur infinie Le petit déjeuner est absolument extraordinaire, que du fait maison avec des produits hyper sains et tellement originaux et savoureux Et que dire de Zofie la maitresse des lieux , un vrai rayon de soleil qui communique une energie incroyable Elle nous a donnée des tas de bonnes adresses dans le secteur c’était très appréciable Nous n arrivions plus à partir , mais c est sur vous reviendrons Ce lieu nous marquera pour toujours
