Very helpful staff. Breakfast so delicious and chef Toa happy to visit each morning. Staff knew our names by day two. We asked for promotions upon checkout so hopefully we receive and return there.

We recently stayed at this resort for four nights and, unfortunately, it fell well below expectations. The first room we were given had an overpowering mould smell, making it unlivable. To their credit, the staff moved us to another room, which was an upgrade, but this brought a new problem—cockroaches. We encountered them daily, and when we informed the staff, the response was dismissive, with no apology or attempt to address the issue. Housekeeping was another consistent frustration. Rooms were rarely serviced before 5 p.m., and often only after multiple phone calls. Even then, the effort was minimal—towels were forgotten, glasses were not replaced, and the overall standard was far from what you’d expect at such a beach resort. We had hoped to celebrate my wife’s birthday here, but instead, the experience was overshadowed by mould, pests, and lackluster service. While the rain was beyond anyone’s control, the staff’s indifference to guest concerns made it even more disappointing. Overall, this resort has potential but falls short in cleanliness, attention to detail, and basic hospitality. We left wishing we had chosen a different place for such an important occasion.
