1. Just 1 min walk from the lake Ashi. 10 min walk from the monastery 2. Compact, clean, with all the amenities 3. Clear communication on the check in, check out and access side.
1. It’s not an apartment, it’s a small room, which is fine, but should be made clear in the description. 2. No room cleaning, again that’s fine, but should be made clear like some or the other hotels I stayed in Japan 3. We had a booking for 2 nights for 2 persons, but there were just 2 coffee sachets

Location was good. Beds were comfortable. The need to leave water in sink running was a concern and a bit noisy.
The need for tap to run so pipes wouldn’t freeze. There wasn’t any plates or cutlery for using with takeaway.
