​Great hotel for a first trip to Istanbul ​A good, convenient hotel that served as an ideal base for the start of our journey. It was our first time visiting Istanbul, so having breakfast included was an important factor for us — and it turned out to be a great choice. ​Pros: ​Convenient location: Only a 7-minute walk to the Haliç metro station, making it very easy to explore the city. ​Breakfast: A tasty and varied buffet. While the selection remains mostly the same each day, there are plenty of options to choose from. ​Terrace & views: Fantastic rooftop terrace overlooking the Golden Horn. The sunrises and sunsets from here are breathtaking and perfect for photos. During the day, you can relax on the terrace and enjoy complimentary tea and coffee.

​Compact room size: The room is quite small and felt noticeably cramped, especially with luggage. ​Thin walls: Poor soundproofing; sounds from the hallway and neighboring rooms travel quite easily. ​Unstable Wi-Fi: The internet connection was inconsistent and tended to drop occasionally. ​Elevator: The elevator broke down once during our stay (not an issue for us as we usually took the stairs, but worth noting for guests with heavy luggage).

Prime location, reasonable amenities, top terrace is covered and can be utilized during the night in case you want to sit out with friends and have tea offering an outstanding view to the Galata bridge, Kadikoy, Sirkeci area. Breakfast is very standard, however very boring from one day to another, overall good impression and would definitely come back. Very good value for money and friendly staff.

Areas to improve: breakfast diversification as everyday was like Groundhog day: same quantities, same table arrangement, same dishes every single day.

Спать было сложно утром из-за мечети, кричащих чаек и котов, район темный с заброшенными зданиями, но до пристани близко, жестко упала на плиточном полу вовремя дождя на подходе к веранде, будьте аккуратны. Отель сильно бюджетный, шкаф на двух гвоздях и ванна в плесени, кому просто переночевать на пару дней - приемлимо

Zu kleine Zimmer, alte Bäder, keine Notausgänge, kein Brandschutz, kein Zimmerservice. An der Rezeption wollte man nur Bargeld annehmen. Haben aber auf Kartenzahlung bestanden. War dann kein Problem.
