About this apartment rental
A house from other times, but with today's comforts, ideal for a couple in love.
Giucano is on the road from Fosdinovo to Sarzana, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. It still belongs to Massa and therefore Tuscany, although very close to Liguria. A small hamlet with stone houses and a magnificent church. No shops, a restaurant usually only active in summer. You can drive right up to the house to unload, parking is about 300m away in front of the hamlet.
On one side of the house is a secluded shelter, a kind of locked alcove with table and chairs, corner that can be used as a balcony - drink coffee, read a book or just relax.
Through a stone passageway you reach the entrance - the basement has cotto floors, typical wooden beams, niches and like everything in this house has been adapted and renovated by hand.
The kitchen-dining room with dining table has a 4-burner cooker, fridge-freezer, toaster, microwave, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine. To the side, a narrow staircase leads to the first floor to a hallway with a living area with a comfortable armchair and desk. Opposite is the spacious bedroom with TV, a second bedroom with single bed, washing machine is at the end of the hallway next to the cosy shower room. The first floor has wooden flooring, the ceilings are slightly lower than usual throughout the house.
Countless excursion possibilities: Fosdinovo with the magnificent Malaspina Castle, Sarzana, Luni with excavations, beaches in Marinella or Forte dei Marmi, Lucca, Genoa and more. Restaurants in Fosdinovo and surroundings, shopping Sarzana and close to the city.
