Creekside Cottage 6 Church Park Kingswear

Such an idyllic spot! Beautiful views, garden absolutely stunning (my fav part of whole time away was just sitting here!). Short walk from two pubs, steam train and the ferry to Dartmouth. Robins singing in the morning, tits during the day, tawny owls hooting at night… plus a couple of bats - so lovely. Nice footpath alongside the creek too, good for a dog walk.

We knew the double bed was in the attic room… but even I struggled at 5ft7 to navigate round. You have to find “just the right spot” to get dressed properly. Abandoned the double after first night anyhow, such a hard mattress I woke up multiple times paralysed on one side haha. I know this is preference though. Single beds were much better in lower bedroom. Sofa is more of a cuddle chair, don’t expect to be particularly comfortable if more than two people. I wonder if there’s scope to have a rethink on layout of lounge to accommodate something more comfortable? Garden not enclosed, not issue for us but not mentioned on description I don’t think. Could be problematic for some dog owners.

Excellent location in a beautiful part of the world with views over Waterhead Creek on the stunning River Dart. Great garden.

Good location Lovely setting with gardens and view of harbour

Everything was fine but could have done with a better clean, quite a few cobwebs around and there was even an old chip under the dresser. Back garden could do with being secure with a gate.

We were a bit puzzled by the bins. Apologies but we couldn't work out what to do food waste!
