The apartment was incredibly beautiful and spacious. It was an older building so it had high ceilings and that charm you don’t find in new builds. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was pretty well equipped. Host was responsive. Location was really great, short walk to the old town and lots of international food options.
As you will read in other reviews, the bathroom situation was unfortunate. It was very small and the shower barely had any pressure. It was also very cold (we went at the end of June and it was colder in the apartment than it was outside) in the apartment and it was quite tricky to figure out how to turn on the heat, even with video instructions from the host.

Lovely big living room and bedrooms. Perfect location for catching buses. Good WIFI. Good washing machine.
Communication was terrible! SUGGESTIONS FOR 26 EAST PRESTON: 1. Better communication. Know what appliances actually exist in the unit. This unit has a Nescafe Mucho Gusto coffee machine, not a Tassimo, as we were told in response to my question. Waste of money for us to arrive with box of Tassimo pods. 2. Respond to messages. Coordinate early check-in BEFORE day of arrival. Also coordinate the time with the cleaning crew. I sent a message May 20th asking about early check-in for June 4th. No response for a week, so I wrote again on May 27th. Got a response that I needed to apply for an early time and pay for a slot. Filled that out asking for noon. Didn’t get a response till the day before we left, June 3rd, saying that noon wasn’t possible, but could possibly get in at 2:00. 3. Replace lockbox for key. We showed up at 2:00 and couldn’t get the lockbox open. Luckily the cleaning crew was still there (they thought they had until 3:00), so we were able to get in and then use their key for the duration of our stay. The lockbox was never fixed. 4. Have the cleaning crew do an inventory as part of the apartment preparation. This unit was missing: Coffee pods which had been promised for first morning at least. Enough toilet paper for duration of stay. Enough bin bags for duration of stay. We found one non-functioning hairdryer. Turns out there was another one in the same room but in an obscure spot. No drying rack for clothes. Only had two water glasses. That was responded to. 6. Fix things noted in previous messages: We should have realized that the previous reviews were red flags. As we later learned, none of their complaints had been addressed. Replace sink stopper to keep water from draining down the sink Fix back door lock that is unwieldy and potentially dangerous in case of needing to get out. 7. Update your web page. Perhaps you think it’s clear, but it’s not.

El apartamento es muy espacioso, las camas eran cómodas, nos gustó bastante. Caminando 20 minutos llegas fácil al centro de Edimburgo, y durante esa caminata puedes ir viendo diversos negocios interesantes, entonces el paseo es muy ameno. También pasan bastantes buses si prefieres no caminar. En general todo bien.
Podrían poner más utensilios como vasos, tazas, cubiertos. Además, la cuota que piden como garantía es bastante exagerada, 300 libras que te regresan en 2 semanas hábiles, si es que ellos consideran que no hay desperfectos, muy dejado a su criterio, así que prefieres elegir la otra opción de 30 libras que ya no se regresan. de alguna manera debes pagar más, y eso que la estancia no es barata.

A proximité des transports (15mn du centre-ville) et des commerces. Le confort du salon et des chambres. Appartement spacieux. Des fournitures présentes (café, lait, gâteaux…)
. L’exiguïté de la douche. Un seul lavabo (dans les toilettes !). Mauvaise évacuation de la douche. . Hotte en panne. . Pas de brosse dans les toilettes. . Mauvaise indication du réseau wifi. . Voisin du dessus bruyant. Bref un rapport qualité-prix insuffisant.
