SANDPIPER COTTAGE is one of the few ground level homes left on St. George Island! This darling 2 bedroom, 2 bath ground level home is on the corner of 5th and East Gorrie, and directly across the street from the deeded beach access boardwalk.
Sandpiper Cottage features lovely tile flooring throughout the home. The living area, dining area, and kitchen share an open floor plan. The living area has comfortable seating and a large flat screen TV. The dining table is a distressed wood table with bench seating. The kitchen is well equipped, featuring a breakfast bar, light and bright cabinets, granite counters, and stainless appliances.
The first bedroom has a Queen bed with a flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a Queen bed with a flat screen TV and both bathrooms feature walk-in showers. Located off the living room is a low profile bunk beds (2 singlels) for additional sleeping.
Going outside we discover a covered porch and a long sundeck overlooking the pool area, all set up with ample seating. The private pool has an extensive patio area surrounded by lush landscaping, features a splendid gazebo and an outdoor table to enjoy lunches as well as loungers to enjoy the sun.
AMENITIES: Multiple TVs, DVD player, well-appointed kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances, solid surface floors throughout, covered porch with fabulous views of the Gulf, screened porch, under house parking, private pool with extensive pool deck and lounge area, park-style charcoal grill, fish cleaning sink and station, beach access path directly across the street.

DOG FRIENDLY (2 DOGS UNDER 35 LBS. EACH) A $75 Non-refundable Pet Fee is required per dog.

We love Sandpiper Cottage! Besides being happy, cozy, and full of everything you could possibly need for a family beach trip, it is steps to the beach, one-story, and close to everything Saint George has to offer. This was our second stay at Sandpiper and have already booked it for next year!!!

We loved Sandpiper Cottage - there are no stairs to climb. This is one rental that actually feels like a home. The kitchen is stocked completely with high end dishes, silverware and accessories. The pool area is so relaxing and well kept as is the yard. Perfect landscaping. Beach access is so close right across the street. This home sits on a corner lot with tons of privacy. We enjoyed the porch in front for some shade and cool breeze. We will be back. P.S. Roxeanne is a delight to work with. We had a small plumbing issue and the plumber arrived almost before I hung up the phone!
