Comfortable studio steps away from the beach!

This condo is ideal for your stay on the South Side of Kauai. You can't beat the unobstructed ocean and garden views. The condo features a king bed, sleeper sofa, small dining table and chairs with additional seating and table on the lanai. The kitchen features a refrigerator, stove and oven, sink and a number of small kitchen appliances.. The kitchen is quite spacious for the size of the condo. You'll find the kitchen is fully equipped if you decide to make your own meals.

The condo grounds features lush local greenery, a pool, and a BBQ area!

The condo is in close proximity to Lawai Beach, Baby Beach or The Spouting Horn. Just a couple minute drive or a 10 minute walk will take you the Kukui'ula Village Shopping Center with boutiques, restaurants, and art galleries, plus a Wednesday's Farmers Market. A drug store and small supermarket are also nearby. Old Koloa Town is just a short 5 minute drive away.

We are located near two major golf courses, the Kiahuna Golf Club and the Poipu Bay Golf Course.

The condo is in a good location with access to a small beach across the street and its a short drive from Poipu beach. The pool and gardens are lovely. We ate all our meals on the small lanai, which has a great view of the ocean. We were expecting to have a dishwasher as it was listed in the amenities, however, when we arrived, we noted that there was none. This was pointed out to the owner, along with some other issues we found. She acted surprised and said there never was one, later we checked and magically it was gone from the listing. We also found the unit has a closet but NO dresser for clothes. For the 3 weeks we stayed, we had to live partly out of our suitcase and what we couldn't hang, pile on the kitchen table. The listing also states a capacity for 4, but there is only 1 loveseat in the living area and 2 chairs for the kitchen table and 2 chairs on the Lanai. We were also told there were beach chairs and an umbrella. There were actually 2 umbrellas, which were broken and there was 1 old beach chair. We were happy to find the condo had a small ac unit and a rotating fan. These provided enough white noise, since this unit is at the top of the stairwell and was quite noisy. The owner wasn't easy or friendly to deal with. She said she could refund our money and we could look elsewhere, which wasn't practical, but she did eventually send over a lovely housekeeper to give us dish towels to dry our dishes and beach towels. None of the other issues were addressed.

The condo is small but it was perfect for us. You can’t beat the location (limited parking though). The pool is nice. The bed was super comfy. We were sad to leave

This condo was in a great location. It was comfortable and clean, but was missing a few details I expect a rental to have, like shampoo and conditioner. There was also a strange lack of communication from the host--I sent them a message on check-in day and never heard back the entire trip. There wasn't a check-out list in the condo or through VRBO. However, the actual stay was good overall.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, with a few exceptions. The property is nicely located in Poipu with just a few steps to the beach. Parking is convenient, we never had trouble finding a spot. On our arrival the property was clean but had a few cleaning supply bottles, paint brushes left about. Not a big deal. The biggest note is that the position of the condo is in the stairwell, which is noisy due to foot traffic and is also windy. The stairwell creates a wind tunnel which passes through the louver window blinds on the front door creating a near constant howling/whistling sound that continued through the night. Just a side note, the beach gear (chairs, umbrella) is all broken so make sure to bring your own. In summary, this is a nice condo, conveniently situated and well sized for 2 people, but could use some improvements before I would book again.

Moderate storm occurred with flooding. Was not advised about it. Not told what should be done. Host not easily contactable. Had difficulty getting the house key from key press. Overpriced. Had to pay host fee and resort fee but not service rendered! No resort facilities.

Loved our stay at the Prince Kuhio Condo. When we arrived it was dark out and we did have some trouble figuring out where we were allowed to park. We also did not realize that we needed to pick up a vehicle tag from the front office. Thankfully we did not have any issues but it would have been nice if the owner would have told us that. The beach across the street is quite small and we spent most of our time at other beaches. We did note that one outlet was missing the outlet cover and another outlet had the whole outlet box hanging out of the wall. The beach gear was very nice to use as well as the travel coffee mugs.

This condo is in a great location with a sweet snorkeling spot right across the street. Very clean room & the bed was soco comfortable! The lanai has a great view of the ocean. I highly recommend!

Our unit was perfect! Loved everything about it. Enjoyed sitting on the lanai and listening to the ocean and watching the waves come ashore. Great place to watch the sunrise.

We absolutely loved this condo! It was clean cute and just what we needed. We would definitely stay again!!! The owner was the sweetest and easiest to contact. Very informative and accommodating. The pool area is sensational and the view was to die for. Beaches are super close and was everything we needed and more than we hoped for. Thank you!!!

Krisy was a perfect host. I gave cleanliness a 4 due to a snafu at the beginning of our stay but krisy took care of the problem immediately so by day 2 we were up to a 5. You couldn’t ask for a better location Across the street was a fantastic restaurant…. The beach house. If you stay here you need to go there. Also it’s a great place to watch the sunset

We stayed at this property for our honeymoon and could not have been happier with the choice. The condo was clean, had all the necessary amenities, and is at a great location. The Prince Kuhio condos are in an outstanding Poipu location, walking distance to beaches restaurants and shops. The complex has a very nice pool area. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Our balcony had a nice view of the beach. The place was very close to shops and restaurants. Poipu Beach is a short drive where you can take a dip, snorkel and marvel at the basking sea turtles on the sand. Also really close to the Spouting Horn. Shout out to our Host Ed, who gave us very clear instructions on how to access the condo and what to do with parking. We had a grand time during this stay. We hope we can come back.

Ed, the owner was so accommodating and easy to reach. His place was so clean, perfect for two and the view was a pleasant surprise. The location is walking distance to many happy hours, good restaurants, and snorkelling right across the street. The pool was very nice too. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed really is comfy. We will definitely be back.

The only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer! This is a lovely condo in a perfect location for enjoying leisurely days at the beach. We appreciated that there were beach chairs and towels for us to use while staying here. Very clean, quiet, and relaxing.

We enjoyed this studio Prince Kuhio condo very much. The location was ideal for us: in close proximity to snorkeling beaches, walking trails, and restaurants. From our lanai, we had a great view of the ocean, Prince Kuhio park and mountains to the north. Although the location is accessible to activities and food, it was also calm, relaxing, and didn’t have as many crowds and traffic as other parts of the island. The condo grounds are beautiful with vegetation, flowers, fountains, and outdoor pool. There was plenty of on-site parking. The condo was recently remodeled and a good size for two people. The king size bed was very comfortable. A/C worked well. The kitchen was well equipped. There is no dishwasher or garbage disposal but that didn’t matter to us. We would have liked to have ice trays and coffee filters. We did construct coffee filters out of paper towels. The newly remodeled bathroom has a tiled walk-in shower and granite counter tops. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. A number of small cleansing bars of soap were provided but no shampoo, conditioner, shower gel or lotion. There are a few feral chickens that hang out around the condo complex and park just like other parts of the island. Most of the time they were not a problem. However, there was a rooster that was very loud that kept my husband, who is a light sleeper, awake for much of 3 nights. We realize this wasn’t the fault of the condo or owner but something that renters should be aware of. Overall, we enjoyed this condo very much and want to stay here again. If we did, we would likely bring coffee filters, ice cube trays, shampoo, conditioner, shower soap and ear plugs.

This VRBO condo faces towards Prince Kuhio Park which means a wonderful view of the park and partial view of the ocean. The privacy and quiet of the condo was great. Know that the Roosters will crow during odd times of the night and one of them must have been within the property and was quite loud for a few nights. Using the A/C and closing the windows helps to mute the volume. Personally I was enamored of the crowing but my spouse slept better when we took measures to mute the sound of the crowing. The location allowed us to access the other areas of the island. Shopping for groceries (other than Costco after we landed) was easy and we went to the Big Save in Koloa a few times. The Kukui’ula Market was a fun place to pick up sushi rolls and Asian black bean pastries too. The pool was nice and we enjoyed some time there when we weren’t snorkeling. The host was very response to our questions as well. We had all the necessary dishes and cooking utensils to meet our needs. We had a great stay at this Vrbo. It’s a short walk to Lawai beach to take in the sunset and watch the parakeets fly into roost in the palms just after sunset.

This rental property was great for my husband and I. The full kitchen and AC was great since we wanted to cook some meals on our own. The location is wonderful and very short walking distance to the water and beautiful sunset views. We weren’t able to swim at night since the pool closes at sunset, but it’s a nice feature should you want to stay at the rental during the day. The room was fully equipped and had everything needed!

This location can’t be beat. Excellent vibes all around. Great spot to surf PKs. Perfect for families if you want to walk to Baby Beach. A 2 minute drive into Poipu Town. Excellent communication from the owner. What more can you ask for?

Good clean condo, AC worked good for sleeping (but don't expect it to cool the whole place, which does not matter), it blows right over the sleeping area. Unit near stairs so a little noise with people walking up/down stairs, but minimal, hardly noticed after first day.

Me and my partner stayed here for 6 nights, for our first time in Hawaii! During the day there is an office manager who helped us get checked in for the parking and was super helpful. The place has the basics for cooking and relaxing. I had coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean every morning and watched the sun rise. The property is beautiful with a nice pool and close to everything. The bed was the most comfortable and the AC and fans were great to keep cool while sleeping. The doors and some of the windows are all open air with screens and slats, so there was always a nice cross breeze, and added to the feeling of being on vacation. Towards the end of our trip, we were very sad to leave. It was perfect for the 2 of us! Thanks for the great stay!

Ed was communicative throughout the whole process. The place is perfect for yourself or with a spouse. If people walk by your place, you will hear them and they will hear you but it does not matter because everyone is in bed by 9pm. The place is equipped with everything you need and I would stay again.

Ed’s condo far exceeded my expectations! Everything was extremely clean, King size bed is very comfortable, and the view of the palm trees from the window was beautiful. Ceiling fans + AC unit a huge plus. The complex is right across the street from the Beach House Restaurant so this location is perfect if you’re attending a wedding there. Parking was also super easy - there was always an open spot available. Communication with Ed was incredible from day 1 of making our reservation. He went out of his way to notify us when we could check in a bit early. My only regret is not being able to stay longer! 100% recommend.
