Was upgraded from 3 room to 2 unit 2 room. Was told it will be side by side and interlink. But turn out it’s not. Both unit is a distance away and whole residential unit does not have any interlink unit at all. Information given was not true.

The rooftop pool was great. The apartment was clean and comfortable with well stocked toiletries. The kitchen was well appointed and overall we had a very comfortable stay.

The apartment faced the train line, and this could be heard at nighttime. Request a room that is not so close if this is something that would disturb your sleep.

Roof top pool was very good with amazing views over the city and plenty of sun loungers. Great location for KTM station and shopping malls/restaurants all located within a very short walking distance. Also very easy/convenient location for using Grab. Great balcony with amazing views of the city. Good range of facilities in the room and UK sockets were a great bonus to us. Water purifier provided in the kitchen which was much appreciated as it provided a constant supply of safe drinking water. Modern/easy to use washer/dryer meant we could clean a lot of our clothes before flying home. Very good air-conditioning which had silent modes which meant I could easily sleep with it on (very light sleeper). Rooms felt very secure due to the door code system and additional locks on doors. Plenty of lifts available, which are speedy so didn't have to wait long for a lift.

The ViiA Residences could be amazing if more attention was given to it's upkeep/maintenance. Our room had a sofa which sagged at one end due to the base being broken at that end which made it quite uncomfortable to sit on. We were offered a room change when we reported it but we had already unpacked so decided to stay. The shower head position bracket in the second bathroom was broken so we had to tie something around it to keep it in a higher position. The towel rail in the main bathroom was loose. Rooms only cleaned once a week, any additional cleaning had to be paid for. A change of towels had to be requested a day in advance. Toilet seats in both bathrooms were a bit wobbly. Hand soap in bathrooms looked like it had been watered down. Having a code for the room door access was a bit of an issue especially if your mobile phone battery is dead, but there are sockets everywhere including corridors for emergency charging. Only given one key for internal door/lift access which was awkward and two keys would be better.

ViiA Residences has no cafe / restaurant and does not provide breakfast or any access to food. It is an apartment arrangement, so you must go shopping for your own food. In addition, there is no "Welcome pack" with basics such as tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter. All you get is an apartment, with a kitchen and sitting area.

Reception desk arrangement was poor. Although there were two people present at all times, only one would deal with the clients. The desk itself is small and so is not conducive to two people dealing with clients simultaneously. When I checked in at around 11.15pm, straight from KL airport, there was a group in front of me arranging something. They had no baggage and appeared to be in sports kit. There was one other person with suitcase also checking in. I had to wait nearly half an hour to complete my check in. Despite paying in full in advance via Booking.com, they asked for a deposit. But they were unable to take the deposit because their card payment machine was not working, so I had to come back the next day. They also asked that I provide cash, as it was easier for them to refund!!! Also, there is no concierge service.
