Stylish , comfortable and well equipped house with superb view of the mountains. The large bedroom window is a delight. Lovely forest walks from the door and you can hike to the Black Lake.

Please be mindful that a lot of building work is taking place in this area. However that did not detract from our stay.

Kućica je potpuno u planinskom duhu, vrlo udobna i dobro opremljena. Nalazi se na odličnoj lokaciji , dovoljno blizu puta a potpuno u prirodi. Domaćin je ljubazan i uvjek na usluzi. Opet bismo izabrali ovaj smještaj na Žabljaku.

It's so beautifully decorated and quiet. It's a comfortable size and would suit a couple or family with 2 children. I enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountains from the bedroom window. I really enjoyed being in the middle of nowhere. I spent two days there hiking and enjoying nature. It felt safe as a solo traveller and I made friends with the local stray dogs (they ended up hiking with me). Having a washing machine really made my trip easier as I was traveling across Montenegro and this stay was half way into the trip. There was also laundry powder. There was everything needed including dry pantry food. I didn't use any as I had brought my own food for 2 days (knowing I don't drive) but it's useful if you run out of food. The owner is very friendly and chill. I didn't meet him in person but we communicated well.

It does get cold at night (September). The heating downstairs was very good but I couldn't get the one upstairs in the bedroom to work so left the bedroom door open for the heat to rise upstairs. The bathroom needs updating especially compared to how beautiful the rest of the chalet is and the shower hose was about to give up on life. I had chosen the pay on the day option but I was expecting to pay by card. I didn't have cash so had to do an international bank transfer (which is fine in general) but this meant I couldn't pay with my credit card which was what I had planned. So keep that in mind if you don't pay when booking. The dishes and kitchen cupboards need to be cleaned. The rest of the flat was clean. So it's more about attention to details. The internet was not amazing but keep in mind you are in the middle of nowhere so sort of expected.

Die Einrichtung des Hauses hat unsere Erwartungen sogar noch übertroffen. Man hat alles, was man im Urlaub braucht. Der Blick auf die Berge erinnert an die Alpen und es ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Der Black Lake ist durch eine wunderbare Route 3,5 km entfernt fußläufig erreichbar, sodass man nicht mit allen Touristen über den Parkplatz kommen muss.

Ohne Auto ist es schwierig einzukaufen oder generell zur Wohnung zu gelangen. Aber wer in der Umgebung Zabljak unterwegs ist, sollte normalerweise eh ein Auto dabei haben.
