Perfect base for Zabljak

Lovely location with great views that’s a 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive into town. There are trails that you can start from near the accommodation that lead into the national park and black lake. Very clean and cosy with great amenities. We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it.

Convenient location just outside of Žabljak

The location is outside of town but the neighborhood has access to some back trails through a lesser known part of the park. Staying outside of the town avoids žablak’s overwhelmed sewer system issues. The hostess very kindly helped bring water to our overheated rental car,

The beds are both couch beds, which could have been more comfortable, but not a big deal.

Clean

Poor communication from hosts - no check in instructions sent until I messaged property one hour before arrival. Asked if they could come into room to take a photo of our passports at 9pm when we were in bed, why couldn’t this be done via WhatsApp or at check in. Room advertised as 2 double bed, but was actually a pull out couch bed with 2 single mattresses pushed together and a second single couch bed with heavy / furry bed sheet. No thick curtain so sunlight came in at 6am waking us up each morning. V basic kitchen facilities to cook, would benefit from getting a microwave. No high shower holder for shower head, and gaps in shower door at center and at pipes so v difficult to shower properly or without making a mess.

Nice, clean and a modern location, with a wonderful view of the mountains. Very close to the city centre and shops, as well as to the P14 road (scenic road). Very friendly owner, there was even a possibility to borrow bikes. Parking possible around the property.

Great view from terrace, it's worth to take room nr 2 with the terrace and view on the mountains. The room was very clean and the apartment is completely new. The host was very nice and helpfull and it was easy to contact him on what's up.

Very comfortable apartment/ base to explore Durmitor Park

The apartment is located within a house that consists of a few apartments. The apartment we stayed in was small but very comfortable. There were two of us plus a dog. The flat was clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place.

I guess the one thing to note is that the area you stay in is full of cottages and feels a bit overcrowded but perhaps that is normal for Zabljak. If you want a remote place to stay in, this might not be good for you.

Loved our 1 night stay, would definitely stay longer next time and recommend to my friends. the host was friendly, accommodating and was able to provide the place even tho it was a last minute booking! also it’s dog friendly!

Sweet stay in a quiet neighborhood

Lovely and clean apartment close to Zablijak. Our host was very nice and quick to communicate. The apartment is comfy and cozy and there is a great view from the picnic table behind the house. The space is tight when the bed is open, but it's super simple to just stack the mattresses and push the lower part in to make it more like a couch.

It would be difficult to find at night so be sure to arrive during the day. Be sure to give the host advance notice of your arrival time so you can get keys. Parking is a bit tight but not a big deal. I wish I could have figured out the convection stove top, but that was probably my fault...it's an unfamiliar technology for me.

This was the cleanest apartment we have EVER stayed in! It was very small, but perfectly set out. The lady who greeted us on arrival was really friendly and welcoming. Perfect location for exploring Durmitor National Park!

Great apartment with really bad check in.

The apartament was well equiped, nicely decorated, comfortable. Very pleasant atmosphere, spacious, with nice balcony. Heater do the work and was effective enough.

What was the worst and unacceptable in my opinion was the check in. In the offer it was said that we can check in from 12. The host did not contact us the day before or in the morning. So I messaged the host about 11 that we want to check in about 13:30 and headed to the apartment. Then host messaged me that we can check in from 6 PM, because other guests check out at 12 and they have to come from another city to clean! We had to change our plans accordingly. Contact with the host during check in was also quite difficult, couldn't reach them on the phone or whathsapp. I had to look for somebody and ask other guests. Finally the neighbour in contact with the host let us in. It was cold in the apartament when we came, but the heater did well.

perfect base to explore Durmitor national park!

everything we needed was there (utensils for the kitchen, towels, etc). the host was extremely friendly and interested and even dropped us off in the town of Zabljak, when we were not able to drive there. the parking spot is spacious and easy to find. the apartment is nice and dark, good for when sleeping.

the location was a little outside town (a 25 minute walk with a good lighted footpath, but still in the nature)

The apartment is cosy, practical and with beautiful interior. Hosts are very hospitable, and you can tell they put a lot of effort in making the apartment tidy and functional.
