Loved staying at Planinska kuća. The accommodations were great for a family. Comfortable and clean. And the hosts were so helpful and kind.

We stayed here for 5 nights with our two teenage kids. The property was such a great base for all the activities that Durmitor has on offer, within walking distance of Zabljkak and Black Lake! We enjoyed hikes, lake and river swimming, mountain bike riding, white water rafting - all within close proximity of the house. There are so many lovely little restaurants locally that we really enjoyed. Whilst the town is walking distance, I do think having a hire car gave us the greatest amount of flexibility. Goran was very communicative - meeting us at the house to run us through everything on arrival (and waited when we were delayed). The kitchen is compact, but perfectly equipped for us to make breakfast and sandwiches for our days out (I’m not sure I’d have been able to cook a big evening meal though as space and equipment is more limited but there is an outdoor BBQ too which extends your cooking space). The beds were extremely comfortable. Shower was very hot and extremely powerful. There’s a lovely outdoor seating area and BBQ which we didn’t actually get round to using but was really nice having coffee out in the sunshine.

There are some small properties located quite close to the house. These didn’t cause us an issue and one is still under construction so no one living there, just something to be aware of if you’re looking for a truly isolated spot (which we weren’t).
