2 bedroom house, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent.

The location was excellent, with Asda, Aldi and McDonald’s only about a 3-minute walk away. There was always a free parking space available outside the house, which was very convenient. The property stayed surprisingly cool even during very hot days. The bathroom was clean, the beds were fresh and comfortable, and towels were provided. The fridge was much bigger than expected and had a full-size freezer, which was really useful. The free Wi-Fi worked very well and the Smart TV was excellent. We also really appreciated how many essentials were provided. There was washing-up liquid, cleaning products, toilet paper and kitchen basics such as salt, pepper, sugar and oil, as well as some food items left in the cupboards. The kitchen had pretty much everything needed for cooking and the gas oven worked well. A whisk was the only thing we couldn’t find, so we bought one and left it at the property for future guests. Overall, the house was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay.

The main downside for us was the cleanliness. On arrival, there was a strong curry/cooking smell throughout the house, and the kitchen felt sticky and generally not properly cleaned. We ended up cleaning surfaces and kitchen items ourselves before using them. The bottom of the fridge was dirty and had water collecting inside, the floors were sticky, and the carpets did not appear to have been vacuumed. Some of the bedroom furniture was damaged, and the second bedroom had no furniture for storing clothes at all, so the children had to keep their belongings in their suitcases throughout the stay. Some of the towels provided also felt damp, although we hadn’t expected towels to be included and brought our own, so this wasn’t a major issue for us. Thankfully, the bathroom itself was clean, although the mirror above the sink was missing and there was only one other mirror in the property. There were also a few small areas of damage and general wear around the house. I have attached photos to show what we found, as I appreciate that standards and expectations regarding cleanliness can differ. For some guests this may not be a problem, but personally I would have expected the property to be cleaned more thoroughly before arrival.

Good stay, host was quick to respond. Place was nice and clean with all amenities needed. Property is big inside with 2 receptions and lovely dinner table. Will recommend 👌

I really enjoyed my stay here, house is very comfy, cosy and clean, nice host and nice neighborhood. There was plenty of space to enjoy in the house and I would definitely recommend for families or contractors. Absolutely lovely stay, great location, facilities and customer service. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff were FANTASTIC, as was the location for what I was in Stoke for. The house had everything that I needed.

The noise and the electrics. The adults yelling at kids next door and the kids making noise late into the evening. And one night an extremely loud karaoke went on until 2300hrs; on a Wednesday. With the electrics, really all the bedrooms should have at least one power point and the room I used did not have one. As a result I had to buy an extension cable into my room.
