The Waterfront is an idyllic cottage apartment right on the waterfront, waking up in the morning, and sitting having a coffee by the window looking out over the water was spectacular.
The facilities were perfect, and the apartment very comfortable…. We would definitely hope to go back there again… 4 days is not long enough.
We loved everything, but if I was nitpicking, the WiFi wasn’t the best, apart from that, it was perfect.

Great location. Loved the views over the bay from the lounge and bedroom
The only thing we missed was a footrest/pouf of some sort, to put your feet up when on the sofa

Excellent apartment, - very well equipped- well located for exploring Orkney - frequent buses from near to property if you don’t have a car. Good walks from the property or great base to travel out. Great views across the bay enjoyed watching to tides come in and out. Places to eat in the village or not far away

Stunning view...in a small town by the water. Access to ferry. The apartment was spacious and had many conveniences. Great little artisan shop 2 doors down.
Not a negative, but a "be aware." St. Margaret's Hope is 20 minutes from Kirkwall, so we did a lot of driving for sightseeing ...but I would not have stayed elsewhere!
