The Attic

The location was great for me. Town itself was very quiet but close to Buxton and other popular places. The attic has its own entrance and you have your own bathroom, little kitchen, fridge and everything you need if you want to make your own meals. There is also a coffee machine with coffee pods which is a bonus. The owners are lovely and they are close by in case of any issues as they live next door. Noise level is very low, there is a dog next door which I heard when leaving in the morning only and you can hear a little bit of the traffic but It didnt wake me up. You can park right outside in the disabled bay. Very tall people might find the ceiling a little challenging but I am not that tall so I had no problem at all.

Everything was lovely. I like watching the world go by when chilling and reading a book but the window has privacy film on it and it was too cold to have it open, but it was still 10/10

Great location!

Quiet, cosy, comfortable with nice homely touches

Nothing to dislike except perhaps the shower controls could do with some attention. I found it difficult to reduce the water temperature, but this was really a minor issue that didn’t detract from my overall enjoyment.

The attic was absolutely perfect for us with everything provided for our short break and very close to buxton
