Vista Tostón

Vista Tostón is, in a word, amazing. This charming and beautifully maintained holiday home sits right in the heart of El Cotillo, offering the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and local character. With two large supermarkets just five minutes away in either direction—and plenty of smaller shops nearby—everything you need is within easy reach. The seafront, lined with welcoming cafés and restaurants, is also only a short stroll away. Even the main beach is just a pleasant 15 minute walk, with additional spots to eat and relax along the way. For those who enjoy exploring, the scenic walk to Tostón Lighthouse—around three miles—is absolutely worth the views. The apartment itself feels like a true home from home. Tastefully decorated in a nautical theme, it is clean, modern, and thoughtfully arranged. The cosy bedroom area includes nightstands on both sides of the bed, a large dresser, a small TV, and plenty of power sockets. An adjacent bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower cubicle provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. The separate living room and kitchen area is surprisingly spacious. Guests will appreciate the large, comfortable sofa, TV, multi speed ceiling fan, and reliable Wi Fi. The well equipped kitchen includes crockery, glasses, a hob, toaster, coffee machine, sink, and even a washing machine—ideal for longer stays. One of the standout features is the wonderful private outdoor terrace. This generous space includes two sunbeds, a parasol, a two person seat, and a rattan hanging chair—perfect for relaxing in the sunshine or unwinding after a day of exploring. The host, Olga, deserves special mention. Warm, communicative, and genuinely welcoming, she was attentive both before and during the stay, offering helpful recommendations and even taking the time to meet up one evening. Her hospitality adds a personal touch that elevates the entire experience. Overall, Vista Tostón is a small gem—a delightful retreat in a lovely coastal town.

While the apartment is exceptional, there is one minor note: the living/kitchen area can develop a slightly stuffy smell if left closed for too long. Fortunately, it clears quickly once the space is aired out.

D'abord la localisation El Cotillo est vraiment une ville sympa pour ses terrasses cafés et restaurants et aussi ses proches plages Logement au calme malgré le proche carrefour et l'entrée de ville petit bruit de circulation possible au petit matin Le logement est en terasse d'un petit immeuble ,composé de deux blocs : la chambre et salle d'eau et à quelques mètres la cuisine et le salon Le tout très fonctionnel et la terasse très spacieuse

Un petit detail : penser à mettre un tapis aux entrées, quand il pleut le carrelage peut être glissant Odeurs régulières dans la cuisine mais qui disparaît rapidement porte fenêtre ouverte Éclairage de la Terasse pourrait être amélioré Pas de parking privé mais stationnement facile moins de 50 m

Location Clean. The shower had great pressure. Plenty hot water. It's great to have a washing machine. The terrace was a great size, sun most of the day. Could get very hot. Owners were very helpful with a couple of issues we had.

Sunbeds need replaced, and the cushions were covered in mould.. The ceiling fan didn't work, but the owners fixed it right away. It did stop working again, but this time, we didn't complain. Did not have hot water in the kitchen area. But to be fair we didn't complain, we used hot water from kettle as well did not cook much during our stay. Steep steps to the apartment, but I knew about this when we booked.
