Casa Cotillo 13 next to Los Lagos Beach Highspeed Wifi

El apartamento estaba genial, la ubicación en Cotillo cerca de la playa, supermercados y de la zona de restaurantes del pueblo, además sitio de sobra para aparcar. Por dentro muy moderno y limpio y con todo lo necesario como se ve en las fotos, y con muchos detalles para estar genial de vacaciones y agusto. Alicia muy amable y siempre atenta a todo, llegada muy cómoda y mientras estuvimos allí nos ofreció siempre ayuda en lo que necesitábamos. Sin duda para repetir!!

The apartment has a very attractive design and an interesting concept. The bed was comfortable, and overall the place has a lot of character.

I originally intended to give this property 7/10, but I decided on 6/10 because the host asked us to leave a perfect 10/10 rating, which I did not find very professional. In fact, the exceptionally high ratings were one of the reasons I booked this accommodation, and unfortunately my experience did not match those expectations. The biggest issue was the noise. Sound carries throughout the entire building, and you can hear neighbors as if they were in the same apartment. The same applies when opening the windows – conversations and noise from neighboring houses in the narrow street travel very easily. Another significant issue was the downstairs window. The locking mechanism is broken, so you cannot safely leave it in the ventilation position. Several times we returned to find the window fully open because the lock would not hold properly. Besides being inconvenient, it also raises security concerns. We were also not informed about the alarm system. When we opened the door for the first time, the alarm started blaring loudly and we had no idea how to turn it off. A simple explanation during check-in would have prevented a very stressful and confusing situation. The bedroom fan was quite noisy, and the downstairs fan was broken, which was frustrating because there are limited ways to cool the apartment otherwise. There were also many small maintenance issues that would likely be inexpensive to fix but affect the overall impression: damaged salt and pepper shakers, a missing part in the drip coffee maker, a worn oven door seal, and insufficient door stoppers for the balcony doors, which constantly slammed shut in the wind. The shower was particularly problematic. The enclosure does not close properly, so it is almost impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom. Judging by the mold damage on the bathroom door, this seems to be a long-standing issue. Finally, there were small ants throughout the apartment.
