Was a short stay an experience but would not pay the price for one night for what was included.

The property was easily located on maps. Easy to access property on arrival. Host helpful when enquired.

Slightly cold on arrival and had to turn heating on (not a big deal), WiFi did not work with internet passcode provided. Shower when using went extremely hot or very cold when using. No tv in bedroom only in main lounge area. Main bedroom area woodlouse on floor (I know this can happen due to being an annex) but some corners were dusty.

Great place to stay for a weekend exploring

The location was great, close to Loch Lomond , aquarium and local castle. Host was very attentive with replies to messages and sorting any questions we had. The hot tub was lovely to enjoy in the evenings and beds where comfy

Small areas could have been a bit cleaner as there were crumbs and bits in microwave and an open dip pot in the fridge from previous guests Floors downstairs where cold ! Bring slippers

Relaxing short break away

Location great as very near to town centre and across the road from Buchanan Arms Hotel, where we used their pool and sauna facilties. Hot tub was emptied and refilled each day and was nice and hot. Host offered to help with anything that we needed. Heating was good. Easy to turn on and off. Beds comfy enough. WiFi worked fine. TV had Netflix and other apps.

No on site parking. Felt that parking on the street in front of the property would be blocking the road or pavement as too narrow. Had to park further away then walk to the property with our bags. No extractor fan when cooking. So got quite smokey with a pan on. Windows had to be opened fully. No starter/welcome pack (tea, coffee etc) No shower gel, soap toiletries. No drawers to put clothes in if you had more than 2 people there. So didn't unpack case.

It was convenient for a one night stay for 3 but for the cost I would expect something more professional… drop the price

The hot tub was nice. The washing machine and drier were great. The owner was very friendly. The shower was hot.

The construction was not soundproofed at all. The rooms were small. I prefer blackout curtains or shutters as the light came in. The kitchen could have been more complete. The slanted roof above the dining room table was awkward. I did not like the electric heaters.

A great little get away, nice location - would go back.

The location is perfect for anyone doing the WHW or for people looking for day walks and trips from Drymen. You can easily walk to local restaurants. Having the private outdoor space and hot tub was fantastic and it was well cared for and cleaned everyday. The property is ideal for self catering with a full kitchen and relaxed evenings in after chilling in the hot tub. The host was helpful and let us know he was available but gave us privacy.

Some things are a little rough around the edges like the furniture. The fridge is very small. No tea towel was provided and wine glasses were plastic. The place was mostly clean but we found an old dog toy under the sofa and felt the crockery all needed a wash before we could use it.

Property was a little run down (outdated) and dirty in places, cobwebs, dust, damaged furniture, glasses with lipstick on etc. Check in and Check out times weren’t ideal as check in was 4pm and check out was 10am.

The bugs and the unstable feeling on the stairs, they looked and felt like they could collapse at any moment, there’s a faulty sink too but these things don’t really affect the stay :)

The hot tub was the highlight, as the shower didn’t work very well it was good to beable to soak in the tub for a little while after a long walk. Good location in the village. Owner next door so on hand to help.

Shower was terrible, no pressure and kept going hot and cold, think it needs replacing. Nice lodge but everything was tired and in need of repairs. Some milk / milk portions would have been nice to beable to make a cup of tea on arrival.

Lovely for a break away

Lovely & cosey. Clean & peaceful. Easy to find & the area is beautiful, shop butchers deli pubs ect all on the doorstep. 100% gonna come back in the summer for a full weekend.

Lovely nights stay for a family night away

The host couldn’t have been any more accommodating, if I messaged him he would come and see us within 5 minutes. The hot tub was amazing and again when it had gotten cold the host helped us to warm it back up again. Drymen its self is a beautiful place for a night away and the annex is an ideal place to stay. Thank you for having us rob

Wouldn’t recommend this property overpriced & not up to standard we accepted for price

The hot tub was lovely a nice space for living area upstarts & rooms were not bad size

No parking directly at property had to trail cases wasn’t far but it is when you have a bad knee & 2 kids next to a road. Rob didn’t meet us or come see us at any point to make sure everything was ok . No milk or anything simple supplied for £201 I thought was rather expensive as I’ve been to cheaper & got more . The place was very dated needs refurbishment it’s very poor standard to which I expected wouldn’t not recommend . Bed sheets didn’t smell fresh either . Disappointing stay

Property needs to be properly cleaned.

The hot tub.

If you don’t clean the property properly you deserve a low rating. I typically only provide positive reviews for places I have rated highly. However in this instance and for the sake of future visitors I hope the host takes note and does a thorough clean before the next guests arrive. Here’s my list of problems identified and mostly photographed if the host cares to see the guest experience. 1. When I lifted the toilet seat the porcelain had dried yellow liquid (I suspect urine) clearly visible and disgusting! 2. Half a broken biscuit, crumbs and other things I swept up in the living area, this was actually the first problem I spotted and didn’t photograph thinking it was a minor oversight. 3. There are two tortilla chips clearly visible on the bed frame, the mattress has a gap to the wooden frame. 4. There is a large dusty cobweb over the wardrobe next to the spare pillow. I realise a cobweb is created in hours but it doesn’t accumulate dust like that unless it’s been there a while. 5. There is dust and the cover of a feminine hygiene product behind the door of the main bedroom. 6. Although I did photograph them you needed to be there to experience the four (yes 4) air fresheners hung in the entrance corridor. Presumably there to mask a worse odour possibly from the toilet/shower room. 7. As a family who don’t wear shoes at home we noticed the floors weren’t clean, it was our choice to walk around in our socks but not one I’d recommend for other visitors. Most of the reviews for this property are very good so perhaps this was only our unfortunate experience and the cleaner hadn’t turned up this month. If the property was thoroughly cleaned it would deserve a higher rating, the hot tub was great! The bedding and towels provided were clean. It would be helpful if a hand towel was also provided for the toilet sink and please put more liquid soap in the dispenser on the wall, there was a tiny amount and if you pumped it enough a little bit eventually came out.

Location

The cleanliness of the lodge left a lot to be desired. The microwave was disgusting and caked in grease. It had to be thoroughly cleaned before we would dream of using it. A lot of dust underneath the bed also. The room with the bunk bed is far too small to do anything other than sleep in. I would suggest this is more suited to having a single bunk bed than the double currently in place. Having stayed in an airbnb, 2 weeks prior to our stay at the drymen annex lodge I was very disappointed having paid double for such an extreme drop in standards. I really couldn't recommend this property to anyone

Everything was spot on, the host was very nice and helpful, explained how to use all the facilities etc. The house was nice, clean and tidy, all the kitchen utensils were provided along with tea, coffee, spices, overall 10/10 experience

Muy buena ubicación, sin alejarse demasiado de la West Highland Way y con bastantes servicios cerca (supermercado, restaurantes, cafetería...). La casa es cómoda y tiene todo lo básico para hasta 5 adultos.
