Perfect spot for a short stay

Quiet but close to town. Cosy and comfortable. Great sunrise from the kitchen window. Lyme Regis was unexpectedly vibrant given the time we visited.

Super stay at Cobblers Lodge

Beautiful location and lodge. Really comfortable bed, bath towels smelt divine. Really nicely decorated and kitted out. Dog loved exploring the garden. We would definitely recommend and visit again 😊Thank you for a lovely stay.

Fantastic . Will stay there again .

Self catering so brought our own food . Bonus was tea coffee and fresh milk provided along with cookies ! The whole place was spotlessly clean . There’s a lovely microwave , fridge , cutlery dishes and mugs . We woke to a spectacular sunrise over Lyme Bay too !

Delightful accomodation and friendly hosts

This property was perfect! It was well equipped, cosy and comfortable. There were so many extra little touches from the full length mirror, a selection of books to read and a retro DAB radio, to name but a few. Check in was very kindly made available earlier than scheduled, which was hugely appreciated and everything available to make a hot drink on arrival, with cookies as an added bonus! Host was very friendly and checked that everything was okay. It's obvious that Lucy and Nikki have really put so much love into this place - everything was such nice quality and so well thought out, plus everywhere smelt so lovely! We will definitely return! Thank you.

Nothing! The weather was a mixed bag but this is to be expected in October and there is nothing our hosts could do about this! Whilst the town is 0.9miles to walk - the accommodation is up on a hill, with no pavements on some parts. However, parking in town was very reasonable at £1.50 an hour.

We wish we could have stayed longer as we were so comfortable staying there.

The overall quality of the accommodation was excellent! The design, decoration and furnishings were all extremely tasteful and there were lots of little extra touches to make us feel at home--teabags, milk chocolate biscuits all supplied, and, information folder with useful tips. There was even a little sun terrace outside we were able to use. Hosts were extremely hospitable.

The property is located on quite a difficult sloping road up from the center of Lyme Regis, which we only tried once on foot being pensioners, but used the car and found parking quite easy thereafter.

A superior holiday cottage

Beautiful cottage and friendly hosts, a great base for visiting the Jurassic Coast. Town is easily reached on foot if you don't mind the hills in the area. Exeter can be reached in an hour if you need a larger town, choice of larger supermarkets within about half an hours drive, or a couple of smaller "express" markets in the town.

A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful part of the world

The property was clean, beautifully decorated, a great size, cozy, and situated in an exceptional position with stunning views! The owners were attentive but not intrusive, kind and helpful, and overall very considerate. My partner and I had a fantastic anniversary trip and we will return to Cobblers Lodge should we come to Lyme Regis again in the future. We felt truly lucky to have found this place!

Cobbler's Lodge was tastefully decorated and had everything needed for a lovely break away. Gorgeous views from the patio and a garden to sit and relax in, also dog proof! A quiet retreat from the bustle in Lyme Regis.

Perfect quiet retreat in Lyme.

My wife and I stayed for one night but we’ll definitely return to Cobblers Lodge. It was a perfect retreat. Beautifully decorated and clean, comfy bed, relaxing patio and garden, a lovely touch with fresh milk, biscuits and fresh flowers on the side. Close enough to walk into Lyme, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Lucy and Nikki were lovely hosts. Thank you.

A little slice of heaven

A beautiful annex connected to the main property owned by the hosts. A well equipped kitchen with proper quality sharp knives, decent cookware and crockery, little details like cling film and tin foil and tupperware. The hosts were friendly but not overbearing, the accommodation was totally clean, the bathroom was great, nothing was budget except the price!

The Lodge was really nice. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Lucy & Nikki were lovely and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The outside area was great with a beautiful view from the decking.

A nice haven

The accommodation was superb attached to the main house but plenty of privacy and very well presented. This made a very friendly warm and welcoming stay. The place offered panaromic view and a very tranquil quiet setting. The little touches of fresh full fat milk and chocolate covered biscuits was a nice touch. Beautiful outdoor setting made it feel very peaceful. The owners are very pleasant individuals. It's set up the hill so if you're not into hiking up the hill to come back then you'll need your car but it's only 4 mins to drive to the harbour. Overall a highly recommended accommodation and one I would definetely stay in again and longer it was like being abroad and so very quiet. Superb ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The fact that you would have to walk up a steep road hill if you're not fit😁. The house dog when sitting in the garden in the evening barking but this in no way deterred the stay. We were more worried about the dog being anxious but nothing that would stop anyone and it was a friendly dog.

Clobbers Lodge was lovely and also very stylish just what we needed for a mini break in Dorset. Nikki and Lucy always on hand if needed and would recommend this lodge to family and friends.

Wonderful stay in Lyme Regis

We had an excellent stay at Cobblers Lodge. The property is modern, clean and recently renovated to a very high standard. The terrace is a particular highlight, a perfect spot to sit and take in the incredible views over Lyme Bay. Nikki and Lucy were fantastic hosts: attentive, responsive, and genuinely accommodating throughout our stay. The location of CL is ideal and close enough to walk into Lyme Regis, yet peaceful and secluded, set in a lovely, quiet spot. Highly recommended and we’d definitely return.

Excellent accommodation- I'd highly recommend staying

I really enjoyed my stay at Cobblers Lodge. The accommodation was lovely and comfortable. It had been finished to a high standard and clearly a lot of thought had gone into providing everything guests might need for a short stay. It was an excellent location for walking down to the beach (or driving to avoid the hill on the way back up!) and really nice to have a view of the sea. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Parking on the nearby street was easy and there was plenty of space to park. There was only a short walk up to the accommodation.

Idyllic place to stay

The location was beautiful and quiet with lovely views. It was a bit of a steep climb back from town which was fine for us but a bit harder with our 15 year od dog! The property was very clean and relaxing and a real home from home.

Comfortable, welcoming and relaxing.

Good location overlooking Lyme Regis. Very dog friendly and very hospitable hosts. Good clean, comfortable and well appointed accommodation for couple with a dog. Would stay at lodge again. Lyme Regis itself is a charming seaside town with good options for eating out and it seems to be kept very litter free. The town is generally dog friendly including in terms of shops and food/drink venues (- although there are some restrictions for dogs in respect of of the beach during summer season).

We were not disappointed with any aspect.

Great flat located in a very quiet part of Lyme Regis. Modern kitchen and bathroom. Own terrace with views of the coastline. Walking distance to the Cobb and amonite beach. Close to the coast path. Perfect hosts with easy communication. Will definitely come back.
