Sehr schönes Appartement in La Gaulette, nur wenige Autominuten vom Traumstrand von Le Morne entfernt, und gut gelegen, um von dort aus den gesamten Süden der Insel mit Nationalpark, Grand Bassin, 7-farbige Erde, Rhumerien, Wasserfällen und Vanillefarm zu erkunden. Vom Balkon hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Le Morne Brabant und traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge. Für Kaffee, Frühstück oder abendliche Brotzeit reicht die kleine Küche aus, wenn man richtig kochen will, wird es wahrscheinlich eher schwierig... Im Ort gibt es einen großen Supermarkt und ein paar nette Bars und Restaurants, aber trotzdem sehr ruhig und entspannt. Die Gastgerberin ist ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit. Da unser Abflug erst spät Abends war und das Appartement erst am übernächsten Tag wieder bezogen wurde, durften wir ohne Aufpreis das Zimmer noch bis 17 Uhr behalten. Super lieb!!!

Man hört manchmal spät abends noch Hundebellen, aber uns hat es nicht gestört - das haben wir daheim auch... ;-)

I honestly couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcome. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had the most wonderful balcony with breathtaking views that made every day feel special. What truly made this stay unforgettable was the host. They were incredibly kind, caring, and genuinely went above and beyond to help me throughout my trip. Their kindness, generosity, and willingness to assist made me feel safe, comfortable, and at home in a new place. It wasn't just great hospitality—it felt like they truly cared. Thank you for making my time in Mauritius so memorable. I will always look back on this stay with a smile, and I would return without hesitation. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

A beautiful view across the well maintained garden to Le Morne and Île Aux Bénitiers. Lots of locals bars & restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful sunsets. Pipine is a lovely host.

The neighbouring property has 4 dogs and there are many strays in the area too. They bark all night long making it very difficult to sleep. We appreciate this is out of the owners hands, but complimentary earplugs would have been appreciated. The bed is also very uncomfortable. You are paying for the location.
