    The chalet did not only offer an amazing view but also great food and a quiet place with a warm staff that really made this weekend a nice escapade from our day to day life.

    We stayed here for Christmas and booked 2 x chalets (half board) and I have to be honest, it wasn’t worth the money! The food was terrible. We all ate our Christmas dinners at separate times due to a couple of the main meals being cold. Two of us ordered the steak (medium rare) and it was practically blue. We sent this back to be cooked some more, however, when the food returned, one of our party had already finished their meal. The returned steak was still cold. They had ran out of the duck option so opted for the chicken. The chicken had zero flavour. Deserts were a shambles. We got severe food poisoning, which resulted in a trip to the doctor. Ruined our holiday and Christmas. The restaurant staff are not very attentive, and we had to leave the table to get their attention on several occasions. The positives: Amazing views, nice pool, clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly reception staff. The road leading to the hotel is dangerous and not suitable for a smaller car. Pot holes everywhere. You’d have thought they would invest some money into patching this up to make it safer considering a one night stay is over €*** (euros). Not worth the money, certainly won’t be returning
