The worst part was being dismissed and disbelieved instead of having the issues resolved

I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I encountered due to the incorrect instructions provided by the property owner, which resulted in my family and I waiting outside for one and a half hours in the cold. The issues are summarized as follows: The attached map leads directly to the lower parking area and towards a wall, without any indication of where to stop or enter, which caused significant confusion (Incorrect instruction #1). The building number was not mentioned at all — only “31” was written without clarifying that it refers to the building number (Incorrect instruction #2). The access code for the external door consisted of 5 digits, while the intercom system only accepts 4 digits (Incorrect instruction #3). There was no mention that the key box should be opened without using a key in order to access the keys inside, making it impossible to enter (Incorrect instruction #4). Additionally: Support response was extremely slow. They refused to answer phone calls, claiming it is “company policy.” There was no consideration or respect shown, despite a family waiting outside in the cold. Even two residents (French speakers) who tried to help could not understand the instructions, especially regarding how to enter without opening the door first to reach the key box. Another issue was the lack of heating and hot water from arrival until the next afternoon, and after long delays I had to fix it myself through the control panel—yet my complaint was still denied Booking.com can see that my reviews of the last four hotels on this trip were all excellent, and I would have been satisfied if they had simply acknowledged that there was a problem Despite my 32 years as an executive in an international hotel company, with precise knowledge of hotel management and guest satisfaction, I was disrespected and dismissed. Unpleasant terrible stay.

The view was perfect

This one is the dirtiest apartment I have ever seen to be rented. The apartment is poorly maintained and way below any rental apartment standards. The host was convinced that the apartment was clean because they made clean the dishes and beds covers (which were washed but with obvious stain marks ). Significant surfaces area of the apartment was filthy with spider web, dust, stain and bugs. I checked out and exited the apartment prematurely as it was comfortable to say the least with host ignoring me and ignoring booking. One of the bed was not made (no cover no pillows) when we arrived and when we notified the host he told us to wait till next day even the next day they sent dirty bed covers for us to make the bed. The host confirmed before our arrival that there are 3 fans in the apartment. However, the apartment had only one fan which is unbelievably covered in dirts (took as 1 hour to clean). When we asked about the rest of the fans he told us that we will find them in cupboard and when we didn’t he said open the windows. This stay was a ruin of vacation and we had to make other costly accommodation arrangement.

there are not too many restaurants/shops within walking distance. for us it was not an issue, as we came for a short visit and just drove to town by car, but worth considering.

Family weekend to visit Annecy

Not far from the Annecy centre and nice quiet surrounding in the evening. Ideal place for 5-6 persons. Balcony big enough for 5 people to sit and eat. Kitchen was well equipped and nespresso coffee machine a nice extra for coffee lovers. I wouldn't mind to spent more time in the apartment as very cosy. Living room is big and big windows are nice; they bring so much daylight. Hosts were absolutely fantastic; information about the check-in etc communication top level.

⸻ Mon séjour dans cet appartement s’est très très mal déroulé. J’avais réservé pour deux personnes avec deux chambres, mais à notre arrivée une seule chambre était préparée. Aucun drap, aucune housse de coussin, pas de papier toilette, pas de chauffage, et les seuls draps présents dans l’autre chambre étaient dans un état catastrophique (voir photo ci-jointe). Nous avons tenté de joindre les hôtes pendant plus de quatre heures avant d’obtenir une réponse. Aucune solution ne nous a été proposée pour la première nuit, alors même que notre réservation était pour deux jours. Face à la saleté du logement et au manque total d’équipement pour deux personnes, nous avons signalé notre souhait de partir en envoyant les photos. Leur réponse : si vous partez, débrouillez-vous, il n’y aura aucun remboursement. Les hôtes ont finalement déposé des draps seulement le lendemain à 14h, devant la porte, sans même vérifier si tout était en ordre. Franchement, je déconseille totalement cet appartement. Je suis extrêmement déçu.

Tout simplement super !

Le logement est spacieux et meublé avec goût. C’était très propre. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la terrasse à cause du mauvais temps mais elle très bien aménagée également. Nous avons apprécié le parking privé et le garage. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

Literie sans alèse, pour l’hygiène on s’attend à beaucoup mieux, poils, cheveux, auréole… Balcon dans son ensemble très poussiéreux et sale Cuisine fonctionnelle mais vaisselle avec une forte odeur et pour la plupart sale. Plusieurs verres ébréchés, attention à ne pas se couper. Placards sale Les rideaux sont gris de saleté Les vmc ne sont plus blanches mais noir Plusieurs toiles d’araignées Télécommande manquante En résumé, cette appartement a un énorme potentiel mais très peu entretenu. L’essentiel de l’hygiène n’y est pas, pour le prix on s’attend très clairement à mieux.

Eine wunderschöne lichtdurchflutete Wohnung mit einem wunderschönen Balkon

Das Apartment ist wunderschön eingerichtet, alles ist neu und sehr gepflegt. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet, die beiden Schlafzimmer sind hell und haben bequeme Betten. Der Balkon ist sehr groß und man hat einen wunderbaren Blick. Besonders praktisch ist auch der Parkplatz und der Aufzug. Das gesamte Gebäude ist elegant und neu. Das einzige Problem, war die Tatsache, dass der Schlüssel nicht in der Box war, als wir ankamen. Der Vermieter kam zum Glück recht schnell, dennoch war es etwas ärgerlich nach der langen Fahrt fast eine Stunde zu warten. Ansonsten hat uns die wunderschöne Wohnung sehr gut gefallen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Superbe séjour (9 nuits)

Un superbe appartement, bien situé, la voiture dispose d'un garage individuel sous-terrain qui est bien sécurisé, l'habitation est fonctionnel et avec une superbe vue sur le balcon. Les propriétaires sont sérieux prennent de vos nouvelles pour savoir si tout se passe bien et cherchent à s'améliorer continuellement!

L'appartement est situé à côté d'une rue passante, de ce fait, pas mal de bruit sur le balcon mais pas de problèmes dans l'appartement qui est bien isolé.

Le top du top, rien ne manque ( café, thé, gel douche, produit vaisselle....) appartement super et sécurisé, très confortable avec une très bonne literie, très bien équipé, bien agencé, très propre et bien décoré et surtout au calme et la cerise sur le gâteau avec un stationnement. Le tout à 15 minutes du centre d Annecy !! Que demander de plus ???
