Great location in the centre of the old town, easy parking

Location is excellent

On arrival the property was left with windows wide open, it was 1 degree outside. They have changed normal radiators for a/c heating which is useless and the property remained freezing cold for two days that we stayed even with it turned to maximum heat. Take slippers, floor is so cold you cannot walk on it. Property was very dusty under beds etc , it has not been cleaned properly for a long time.

Quite dated apartment that needs some TLC, a little modernisation and a lick of fresh paint. The hob didn’t work.

Hard on Health!

Location

Place had dirty walls and dirty inside kitchen cabinets and dusty vents. Beds don't have bed pillows. Instead, huge decorative ones. Second floor and no elevator.

Excellent location, close to car park and very close to the old town. Good WiFi, and we’ll equipped for our needs.

Sofa and bed mattresses could have been more comfortable, but that is me being very picky, as we very much enjoyed our stay. A floor mat for the shower/bathroom would be useful, unless I missed it.

A lovely, well-situated apartment.

This is a clean, spacious, airy apartment with a lovely balcony where you can sit with a coffee or drink and enjoy looking at the passing parade. We are happy to recommend this apartment.

There was almost no body wash or kitchen detergent provided. When I mentioned this to the managers they said, politely, that they are not a hotel. However, as I said to them, it is not only hotels that provide soap. We have stayed in many apartments in Europe every year for nearly 20 years and they almost always provide an adequate supply of body wash and kitchen detergent. It obviously doesn’t cost much and it’s a real nuisance to have to provide your own. I think they would do themselves and their guests a favour by reconsidering their stance on this.

The location of this apartment is great, within an easy walk to the old town and the lake. It was comfortably furnished with a nice balcony which, unfortunately, we couldn't use due to rainy weather. Communication about checking in was clear and stress free.

Good location in the centre. Secure off-site parking. Small balcony had a great view of the city. Bathroom was good.

Bedroom was cramped with no clothes storage. Kitchen could have been easier to use. We couldn’t get hold of anybody through the phone and their on-line response was very slow.

Great location and easy access…but lacking on comfort and amenities

The most uncomfortable mattresses we have ever slept on. They were hard as a rock. Also the beds were made but without the duvets inside. It was just and empty duvet cover on top tucked into the mattress. We had to find the duvets, stuff them into the covers and remake the beds. Also, it’s not advertised as a self catering rental on Booking.com. We arrived and only had one roll of toilet paper and no hand soap in the bathroom. When I asked for more the following morning, I was told we had to buy it. Toilet paper is listed as one of the amenities on Booking so it’s very misleading. I mentioned this and they did send one more roll over…but that’s it. Two small rolls of toilet paper for 6 people doesn’t work. Also only one towel per person and no hand towels or face towels. I asked for more and was told I couldn’t have any. As someone who traveled from outside the country, I would have never stayed two nights in a place where I needed to bring my own toilet paper, soap, and towels. It’s just not realistic. Even basic Air BnBs we have used provide those things. If they don’t provide enough then they shouldn’t list them as amenities.

Good place but

Good location, good beds, clean and comfortable beddings but ...

Wifi code of the apartment was not indicated anywhere. We had to ask for it. Design flaw of the shower glass partition makes water spill out to the floor (It isn't a big thing, though). It's true what others have written: there are NO toiletries, even if they indicate - free toiletries - in the facilities section of their page. Even the most basic thing like handsoap (for the toilet and bath area sink) is nowhere to be found. This is the first apartment ever that I rented which did not provide this. There are two bath gel dispensers in the shower area, but no bath gel. Someone wrote about the spiderwebs on May 24, so we expected the webs to be cleared by the time we were there - May 31. We had the impression that the owners or managers don't care. These are the kind of webs that have been there for quite some time, and not new ones. I have 7 photos of cobwebs in different areas on the ceilings and walls (because we were shocked to see all that), which I will submit to booking.com if they want to see them. Also, I received a message from the owner or manager thanking us in advance for our cooperation to --- remove all the beddings. We threw the garbage of the kitchen, but sorry -- it's out of place to ask paying customers to do the job of the cleaning lady. If the cleaning lady needs more time for the apartment, pay her more. We paid 467 euros for 2 nights. Certainly, it covers her rate. Besides, we did not dirty the place, we did not even cook. If we borrowed someone's apartment, we would insist on cleaning the place, but here...

Second to none location within Annecy and a very well appointed and clean apartment. Highly recommend.

A little cosy for four people but didn't hinder the enjoyment of the apartment. There are two flights of stairs with no lift which might be difficult for some guests but didn't bother us.

Dirty and could do with a deep clean

The place was extremely dirty. The host should take some time out to come and visit their properties as cleaners are clearly not doing their job. Dirty used pants in the drawer, disgusting carpets, sofa that needs disinfecting and months of dust on the shelves. Three people stayed for 4 nights. They provided 4 coffee bags, 4 dishwasher tablets, no handsoap and shower gels. A heads up to buy your own items would be better. The host then sends a message to clean the property before we checkout. Value the feedback and act on it yourselves right away rather than sending a cleaner who simply didnt care.

Ideal apartment in a fabulous location

Fabulous location next to a beautiful church (L'Eglise Saint Maurice) and right next to the lake and gardens (Jardins des Europes). Great to have a small balcony that overlooked the Hotel de Ville. Location couldn't be better. Apartment is small but makes very good use of the space and has everything you would need. Very comfortable beds, good shower/bathroom and useful to have separate toilet. Decent sofa bed. So good to have great air-conditioning in the apartment - really helped in high temperatures. Hosts were brilliant with frequent communication and it was so easy and stress free to gain entry (lock box and very good instructions). The professionalism of the hosts was superb. We had a lovely holiday here.

Some noise in evenings as apartment is next to busy restaurants and bars but there is no noise with windows closed. If you like being in the heart of everything then this apartment is perfect.
