Stunning location…exactly as the pictures show. The room was huge, spotlessly clean and a delight to stay in. The host was so kind, they got us into our room early after arriving much earlier than expected and were accommodating for our fussy little eater!
Nothing!

Amazing view, very quiet and peaceful. Felt like a proper escape. Great views from the breakfast terrace. The owner of the hotel was very helpful with local advice.
The road down to the hotel from Sa Pa was very bumpy but manageable.

I loved to stay at Maison de Lao Chai. Far from busy and noisy Sapa Centre, this place is located near the ricefield hills, perfect for those who want to trek the area. Miss Bien was so nice and helpful. I will back for sure.
This is just a suggestion for make this place a 10+ in my opinion. Having a Spa with massages would be the best. The breakfast maybe need just a little bit more of food.

Well presented rooms. Would be a good view if it wasn’t foggy
Stinky drains, mattress too hard. Condition of road to get there was terrible. Location too far from sa pa. Food not good. Damp smell in bedroom. Many steps
